I've been busy the last few months becoming Swedens "official" word on Swedish film over at www.sweden.se at the same time I'm now head of the film department for a pretty big Swedish retail store.. So busy busy..
I've missed everything from news to the great podcast but I will play catch up.
I've basically seen most films out there. Not overly happy with most of them, however I really enjoyed John Cusacks new one, Shanghai which I saw at Stockholm Film Festival. Cemetary Junction is also a GREAT movie by Ricky Gervais.

ohh yeah, sweden's great, been there a couple of times refereeing basketball games, and I must say no wonder Noomi is making a career in Hollywood, or Dolph made one, cause even children speak English very well in Sweden. I was pleasanlty surprised

Oh yea definitely...the second song that plays in the last half of the trailer is The Heavy..still not sure about the first song though, havent heard that one before.
I think they're both by The Heavy.
First one: "Short Change Hero"
Second one: "How You Like Me Now"

I hate you guys (in a loving way) that you get to see Despicable Me. We Sweds need to wait about a month until those minions, or yellow Viagras, take over the silver screens.
But you probably get to see some awesome sweeedish movies we'll never even know they exist

Just saw Toy Story 3 yesterday for the first time. Talk about an epic step up from the first and second one. Just the "fire" scene in the end made the whole movie awesome.
I don't know of any other movie in recent memory that's had me on the edge of my seat as that movie did during that scene.
I sat there wondering just how in the HELL were they going to get out of this?!!!
I'm looking forward to eventually seeing "Toy Story 3"...even though I haven't seen the first two.
I'm a big Timothy Dalton fan...and I hear his charachter 'Mr. Pricklepants is hilarious!
