This remake starts offer surprisingly strong, with a nice set up and solid characterizations. After the first 30 minutes, and the plot really kicks in, it looses some steam. It's decently acted, and looks good enough, but nothing new in that regard. The pace is ok, but we've seen zombie movies for so long, and this brings absolutely nothing new. It's all ok, but when we have "Zombieland" and either "Dawn Of The Dead", why bother with merely 'ok'?
