My fav Bond films from each actor that played the role.
When I think of COOL I think of (not in order)...inspired by the 8 mile run I had in 32F weather:
Randy, I was going back and forth on which incarnation to include and ran out of time. I am a busy bee.
"COOL" for me = The Godhead, Angels-Ancient History! David Bowie- The Rolling Stones- Marvel & D.C. Comics' 1960s/70s artists and titles. Bass guitars & Drive-Ins!
My Top 5 Bond Films

Very solid list, I'd probably go with the same ones except maybe a different order.
Bond facts:
My biggest gripe with Casino Royale (the Craig movie) was the whole Poker thing, it's the equivalent of him drinking a Heineken in this new movie. It's kinda tacky haha
If I was James Bond, my Bond movie would be:

It's where my dad is from WalkA so it has significance for me. If you have never been I hope you get a chance to go. It is an incredible city.

Random thoughts on a lazy Sunday:
@JohnL...I have this cool small framed watercolour picture that shows Superman as a small figure flying alone in the sky. The quick scene of him flying in the teaser reminded me of that picture and the lonliness/isolation it implies.
As far as the comics go I guess it just depends on whose writing the character. The common misconception on the character is that he's a heroic figure, but if written right he should come across as someone whose kind of unsettling like a Travis Bickle or a John Rambo. Rambo from FIRST BLOOD, not the sequels where he pretty much just became an action hero.

A spoiler free list of what I enjoyed about The Avengers:

to answer your question, very cool! I love Lego's answer to IronMan's repulsor boot jets
His visor lifts up as well. Very cool. The only negative is that they did not give BW any guns.
Current comic book musings, 2nd edition:
#1 - Agreed.. way, WAY too many titles. I love Batman as well but how badly can DC milk his name by now?
#2 - same
#6 - same as well, yet I haven't picked up Supes
#10 - I'm inclined to agree, even though we don't know what the future will bring to us. Nolan's Batman movies are borderline perfection and The Avengers is perfect in every way.. it was literally a comic translated to the screen.
10. I'm very much in agreement with you. WB is going to allegedly return to Batman's fantasy roots, so the reboot so far promises to just be another aping of Tim Burton's style. Which is sad.
Famous People Who Share My Birthday: August 19th
If I could create my own Expendables cast it would include:
That's right you would :-)
I may have to add Jon Hamm in there for 1) some American content and 2) for the Kim K bashing commonality with Statham and Craig.

Fellowship musings:
My Batman stuff
I was in Pottery Barn Kids buying new linens for my boys (Batman and Spiderman of course) and I almost bought myself a Batman backpack...I managed to control myself.
I also walked into a comic shop and saw a desk Bat-signal...it was $400+...a saner mind prevailed.
When I think of these genres I automatically think of..

Random musings:
I don't like the casting of Mark Ruffalo either but I'm curious what he does with it.
^^oh i thought you were refering to her talk show. I haven't seen the sitcome
Ugh I cant stand Chelsea Handler. Ooh I'm middle aged and so outspoken! Original.
Fictional Characters I wanted/want to be
I mean, in all fairness, after those two who needs to be anyone else, really? haha
I didn't put Batman on my list because he's kinda sad haha. James Bond on the other hand. Definitely.
::hears batman theme mixed in with 007 theme:: Definitely could work.

Current comic book musings:
7 - Yeah they seem to do that WAY more than they should. i mean on one hand, its good to know Gods can be just as vulnerable as any other being in the marvel universe, but come on' now! lol
Goals for 2012!!!
It seems a lot us are going this summer to ComicCon, you're lucky I don't drink haha but joblo/MFC meetup would be very cool
Fab's 2011 highlights - it's been a great year.
#2 - that's incredible.. I would love to visit all of those places.
#5 - Dude.. that's so awesome!
#13 - Finally!!
JL...it was incredible. I go to Dallas a lot for work so I started going to Mavs games a few years ago (since my Raptors have been terrible) so I got to see a team I am invested in against a team I hate. The anti-LeBron sentiment was palpable.
Famous people I have seen in all my travels (I think I got most of them):
Ha Laksmikanti, sadly no. Although I do fly BC a lot now, this list is spread over 15 years and through most of it I didn't. I would get in the lounges because I had frequent flyer status. Early on I used to do a lot of trips to California and since Toronto is also a filming hotbed, the odds of seeing someone famous on a flight to LA is pretty high.
Funny, coincidently, I am pretty sure I am looking right at Jaime Pressley right now in the USAir lounge in Charlotte, NC.
There you go! I just got Frecuent Flyer Status on Star Alliance which will allow me to get in the lounges... so let's see what next year could bring me.
I finally saw The Muppets with my boys. Here are some of my observations:

1. Have you see the movie Empero'rs club? they have a History Teacher the call Mr. H.
You are a prince.. I think I told you that months ago when you wrote something about a gift to your wife.
Awww...thanks. I am not sure I have been called a prince before. You are very sweet. I am rather nice and quite polite :-)

Your #1 just had me in stitches!! I can't stand that... there's hardly any oxygen on planes to begin with, plus, it's recirculated, so their toxic fumes are the last things we need in such a confined area. OMG #3 is one of my biggest pet peaves... these people need to know the rules of the road or hand in their plates! I just love this whole list, period. You sound like me.
Thanks Kitty!! Given how much I fly, I could create a whole list just on flying pet peeves.

My Top 10 Favorite LOTR Characters
This is a great fucking list and I appreciate the love for Haldir... people always dismiss him in the trilogy or say - who? He was a great character.. wonderful list!
Here's mine: http://www.moviefancentral.com/johnlocke2342/top10s/6949 we have a lot of similarities dude!
Thanks guys. Honourable mentions for Treebeard and The Witch King of Agmar (because that is a very cool handle).
I did not read the books as a kid and in fact only just read them, along with The Hobbit, just before the Fellowship was released and I fell in love with them. Jackson did an amazing job netting so much material into a cohesive set of films. In particular, the casting was inspired.
WA...I feel I should get a royalty everytime my name is used as an adjective :-)

I could not help but think of Flea from RHCP when I saw your #4. MetroMan sounds like, either, a meticulously stylish superhero, or a videogame character! haha
My Perfect Woman
Based on a list by goNADSgo69
Everything stated here is very well said. Plus, I admire the fact that your list is so down-to-earth, non-superficial and realistic! I especially appreciate your number 4... no one is "that" pure, and I wish people would stop setting the bar up so high where they can't even see that everyone has some type of nuance or flaw. So, thank you. People like yourself give those women out there hope. Great list! :-)
Thanks. Experience helps. I suspect that list would have been much different at 22...#1 would have been pulse :-)

10 Girly Things About Me...following the crowd
Vaginas and buffet in the same sentence? *Cringe* haha
Fabster, this is a great list! And, that whole bit about protecting your family isn't "girly", per se. It's just a universal, compassionate thing to do. :-) Also, actively listening is a great trait to have!!! I think that makes you more of a man to do so. :-D
Curious how this girly list kinda made you look more manly haha oh yeah and I'm not too into strip bars either
Regarding #5 KG, you are right of course...I was going for the "lioness and her cubs" type vibe.
Randy, I don't know how that happened...I am about as metrosexual as they come.
Manly things about me...I had to give this a whirl.

Ten Things You Didn't Know About Me
Apparently you only have one finger cause your ten item list ended at one.
For a guy who works in software I screwed up pretty fast. The shame of it all.

Some good points. Especially the beard, in a world full of facial hair his was some of the most kingly.
