How was it going from an indie drama/comedy like 500 Days of Summer to a big budget superhero film? Was he able to incorporate some of the unique filmmaking touches (such as the scene where JGL is standing in the street and the shot transitions from real life LA to a hand-drawn version) he had in 500 Days into his new Spiderman film?

That's pretty awesome. I could see Stormare being a completely open and chill dude.
eh, The Hunter was disappointing. It was a good looking movie with a great concept and a solid cast, but there was just something missing and it ended up missing the mark. A solid 6/10 but I'd say wait for it
Why do the studios feel the impulse to give away the bank, via trailers and T.V. spots the last few years? Shoot a load of phoney scenes etc for trailers, mixed with a little stuff from the reels.
Never seen the show and what i knew of it didn't really appeal to me as a feature film. But this trailer made me laugh and I'm a sucker for Fish out of Water stories and a lot of humour can be milked from the early 70s Era.
But I can understand if fans of the T.V series are Fucked off.
Aside from characters with the same names it looked like it had absolutely nothing in common with the show I enjoy, I'm kinda meh on it.

what made you interested in the Spider-Man project?
