It sort of reminds me of how I reacted to The Scarlett Letter when I had to read it in middle school. That book SUCKS.
Sounds about right. It took a while for me to get on Cooper's side, but once he did it felt like it was earned.

It certainly looks that way. But we can still agree to disagree on John Green novels.
I'm just going by what they said on the AITH podcast. One of 'em couldn't even make it past a few episodes, the other guy saw the rest of it and basically thought it was a meandering piece of suck.
Not that big on Eli Roth anyway myself.
Yeah, I'm not either. And yet for whatever reason I continue to watch his movies and go in to them hoping for the best. Of course, I'm the same way about Rob Zombie.
I thought it comes out next tuesday? Either way can not freakin wait for my blu-ray to get here!!!
Apparently it was delivered yesterday. So I'm assuming my parents must have done something with it since I was gone all day yesterday. I can't wait to see it again. It's one of my favorite movies of last year.
They don't make 'em like this one anymore that's for sure.
Interesting, if you count THE KID Bruce Willis now has 3 time-travel movies under his belt.

Do not feel bad for disliking The Great Gatsby. Do you want to read a dirty admission from an ex-literature professor? Literature is sometimes boring. Literature is often unrealistic. Literature can be cutesy and corny. As Houseman (famous poet) noted, "poetry is stupid stuff."
Not everyone needs to find the Great Movies so great. JoBlo News and MFC express often "The Unpopular Opinion." Not everyone will find the Great Works so great. For example, I cannot stand Howards End. My comment has been "The book is called Howards End, but it never does." However, like you with Gatsby, I see the work's appeal.
