Can't wait to see this as I was bullied a lot as a kid.

I hope this movie really gets the point across and makes a difference.

To stop being the prey, you must become a predator.

I don't think it will WalkAway as bullying sadly is a normal part of childhood, hell it's even normal for adults. People who feel superior and want to look cool and tough in front of their friends will assert their dominance on the weak. It's a sad but true fact.

When I was bullied, I didn't take it. I drove one bully right in the fucking mouth in Grade 5 and almost dislocated his jaw after he punched me in the stomach while I was trying to walk away from a fight.

The problem is the parents and teachers who ignore it and don't step in cause they're too stupid or lazy to notice a problem.

I know bullying won't stop ever, but the point it is at in today is beyond what you can imagine. I worked in a school and the things we saw it was maddening, especially when an administration didn't care anymore.

^^And therein lies the problem, the teachers, principals and parents don't give a shit. It's easier to turn a blind eye and ignore the problem than to face it head-on.

Kids need an avenue to take where they can speak to a teacher/counselor/officer to tell them what the problem is, who is involved and how it can be resolved. Kids are just too scared.

If bullies knew there was severe consequences for their actions, things would be very different.

I was bullied all through grade school, middle school and high school. Mostly verbal taunts rather than physical assault, but in middle school they stooped to vandalizing my house. The teachers' only advice was "Just ignore them." Hey numbnuts, if that was working, would I be talking to you? Got in too many fights to count, and could likely have gotten expelled if I didn't start watching my ass in high school. Watching this trailer, it makes me think...it's kind of a wonder I didn't take my life or bring a deadly weapon into the situation.

If things are ever going to change, unlikely though that may be, awareness is always the first step.

I was bullied a lot in middle school because of my physical appearance. Not just, kids would say that I wasn't black enough for them in so many words (I went to a predominantly black school). Not to mention, I had no friends and often ate lunch by myself. In fact, I tried to block that stuff out and pretend there was nothing wrong. I told my parents about it but even if one person stopped bullying because of what I said to the teacher, another would start. This happened every day and I always tried to find a way to stay home from school. I had a rather disturbing moment in high school when another male student who was larger and taller than me tried to sexually proposition me. I told the teachers but unfortunately, not much was done and I always had to see his face. I still think about that today. Throughout middle and high school, I was verbally abused and peers often crossed boundaries by touching me inappropriately.

But It's good that people are finally realizing that bullying is a huge problem that needs to be dealt with, even though it might not stop altogether, then at least we can start somewhere.
