My picks for the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame class

Img68
1. "Macho Man" Randy Savage - He's one of the greatest of all time, and the fact that he hasn't gotten into Hall of Fame yet is a travesty.
2. The Rock - The Most Electrifying Man in ALL of Entertainment certainly belongs in the Hall of Fame. One of the greatest of all time!
3. Miss Elizabeth - The best female manager of all time! It would be very fitting for her to go in alongside Macho Man. A life that ended way too soon and tragically.
4. Edge - 31 title reigns. WWE is big on putting the biggest stars to recently leave the ring in the Hall right way (ie, HBK and Eddie Guerrero). This seems to be a lock.
5. New Age Outlaws - In my opinion, one of the greatest tag teams of all time. 5x tag team champs that also found success individually.
Nite Owl
Nite Owl at 05:27 PM Apr 19

Macho Man is long overdue. The Rock has a match next year so I doubt it, but he will go in eventually. Edge I think they should give it a few years, just to make sure he's done for good. I don't think he'll ever make a comeback, but you never know. If I had to guess I'd say Kevin Nash has been hanging around lately because he wants in the hall of fame.

HarkonnenAmongYou
HarkonnenAmongYou at 05:27 PM Apr 19

Yeah 100% behind Randy Savage. In fact, they could dedicate the whole night to him.

dstoudt80
dstoudt80 at 05:39 PM Apr 19

@Nite Owl: I included Edge because I think it would make for a really good star studded Hall of Fame class. I do wish that WWE would wait a bit longer. Kind of like baseball does where you have to be retired for 5 years before you can be a candidate. However, the problem with wrestling is sometimes "retirements" aren't forever.

The Tannen Family Ranked (in honor of Thomas F Wilson's/Biff's bday)!!!

11082377_gal
1. 50's Biff - This Biff gave Marty and George McFly the most problems. You can't beat the line: "Make like a tree and get outta here!"
2. 80's Biff - Hilarious to see 80's Biff trying to blame George McFly for the accident he caused while drinking beer no less. "Say hi to your mom for me."
3. Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen - Because I'm a sucker for westerns. "Listen up, Eastwood! I aim to shoot somebody today and I'd prefer it'd be you."
4. Old Biff - Good to see Biff carry all of his asshole and bullying tendencies w/ him to old age.
5. Griff - I love the Tannen family but Griff's voice annoyed the shit out of me. Thankfully his time on screen is short.
cerealkiller182
cerealkiller182 at 03:53 PM Apr 15

I would switch #2 and 4. Old Biff cracks me up. You also could have done two different 80s Biffs, before and after Marty messing with everything

Top 10 Wrestlers That I Wish Were Still in WWE

Road_dogg
1. Brock Lesnar - We were only able to witness some of the potential that this great athlete brought to the ring.
2. Road Dogg Jesse James - Back in the day, Road Dogg was 2nd to only The Great One on the mic!
3. Goldberg - Say what you will about Goldberg, but he was a hell of a presence in the squared circle.
4. Mick Foley - Great personality to have around whether he's wrestling or not.
5. Rhyno - I remember Rhyno was awesome during the Invasion angle, but a neck injury sidelined his momentum.
6. Rob Van Dam - RVD... nuff said!
7. Eric Bischoff - Not a wrestler, but I loved it when Bischoff was the RAW GM. Love or hate him, Bischoff is one of the most pivotal personalities in the history of the business.
8. Victoria - I always thought she was one of the most talented female wrestlers in the ring... and not too hard on the eyes either.
9. Dudley Boyz - This would bring back much needed attention to WWE's lacking tag team division.
10. Shelton Benjamin - His matches against Triple H were some of the best matches on RAW, and he never really got a good push that he deserved.

Directors I'll Watch Anything From

Uwe_bullshit_by_warulver
1. James Cameron - T2 is the film that made me the movie geek I am today
2. Stephen Spielberg - Nuff said
3. Christopher Nolan - I have been a fan of every film he has crafted
4. Martin Scorsese - So many of his films are ranked as my favorites of all time
5. Quentin Tarantino - Death Proof and Inglourious Basterds were a big let down for me personally, but its like having a really hot girlfriend that treats you like shit... you keep going back to her.
6. Tim Burton - I've been a fan since Pee Wee's Big Adventure! Other high points are Edward Scissorhands, Batman, Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow!
7. Jason Reitman - a young filmmaker who's resume is short but very impressive.
8. Michael Bay - love him or hate, he puts asses in the theater seats and one of those asses is me. This guy makes movies (both good and bad) that are truly meant for the big screen.
9. David Fincher - loved him since Se7en, and I even appreciate Alien 3!
10. Frank Darabont - another short directing resume, but Frank Darabont really knows how to tell a story. I will forever be pissed at George Lucas for dismissing his Indiana Jones 4 script especially after Ford and Spielberg said they loved it. That is a big reason Lucas is left off of this list!
11. Michael Mann - he has created some of my favorite crime movies; Heat, Collateral and the underrated Public Enemies.
12. Ridley Scott - the only movie of Scott's the I disliked was Hannibal, other than that he has one hell of a track record.

#1 - loved Salvation as well! Only thing I felt unneeded in it was Christian Bale. He didn't do a bad job or anything, but I wish they would've gone with another relatively unknown actor as they had in T2 and in T3.

#2 - the main actor and character in it was a total douchebag and an unlikeable hero... alright so was Bow Wow, but the movie itself wasn't all that bad and was actually pretty fun besides that... only thing I wish was different was the main character, it should've been Han - not the american hick asshole. :P

also really dug Doom as well! The Rock was a badass shit talking asshole in it, and the supporting characters in the team were awesome!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Films Ranked

Therundown-photo_19
1. The Rundown - one of the best action movies of the 2000s.
2. Faster - I thought Rock's return to action was a good time throwback to 70s revenge movies.
3. Walking Tall - the only draw back of this movie was that it was incredibly short.
4. The Scorpion King - guilty pleasure that I usually watch any time its on TV.
5. Doom - I know video game movies generally suck but I liked Doom. I was violent and R rated like it should be.
6. The Mummy Returns - I didn't find this to be too bad even though Rock has a glorified cameo.
7. Be Cool - not a real good movie especially compared to Get Shorty, but Rock stole the show.
8. Gridiron Gang - underrated feel good sports movie.
9. Get Smart - I didn't love this but it gets a bit better every time I see it. Showcases Rock's great comedic timing.
10. The Other Guys/Reno 911: Miami (tie) - more cameos but pretty much the funniest parts in the movie
11. The Game Plan - definitely cheesy and kid friendly but not that bad. Decent enough for one viewing.
12. Southland Tales - God, I wanted to like this movie... but it is a definite mess.
13. Notes: Haven't seen Race to Witch Mountain or Tooth Fairy (I will never see Tooth Fairy). Wonder where Fast Five will rank on the list?
Mr.Blizzo
Mr.Blizzo at 07:36 PM Mar 02

The Rundown is my favorite of his movies. Why anyone thought it would be a good idea to make The Tooth Fairy is beyond me. the whole concept for it always reminds me of a fake movie in an actual movie...Like one of Adam Sandler's fake movie roles in Funny People. I too will never watch that movie.

1. The Dark Knight - the greatest comic book based/superhero of all time! I even consider this one of the best epic crime movies. Left the theater speechless after seeing it opening night.
2. Inception - this has so much going for it... originality, sci-fi, action, caper. Nolan's Inception has sex w/ our minds!
3. The Prestige - one of the few movies that when I saw it I immediately watched again!
4. Batman Begins - Nolan resurrected Batman and made him the Dark Knight again pulling him out of the campy shit pile that Schmacher left him to die in.

My theory on that is that the TX never seems as threatening as the T-800 in T1 or the T-1000 in T2... but Kristanna Lokken is still f'n hot!

I wanted to put Kindergarten Cop on my list but I couldn't find a place for it. Other than that and the T3 movie, which I dispise, yeah, our lists are very similar. Love the top 3!

I really enjoyed Goldberg once he came to WWE. His debut vs. The Rock was awesome w/ some great build up. I also really enjoyed his feud w/ Jericho (Jericho dumping paint on Goldberg's muscle car and running away).

I think after yesterday's Batman news, Bronson has made a lot of peoples' "must watch" lists.

Some great ones.

Bronson has been on my list since Inception this summer, but I am looking more forward to it now.

I also meant to add Charlie Wilson's War to the list... every time I intend on seeing this movie something comes up. Pisses me off.

you should have just done a top 10 of the decade (2000-2009)

dstoudt80
dstoudt80 at 11:54 AM Jan 20

@darthpaul64: If I did that list the only difference would be that Gladiator would have been on it as it came out in 2000. If I added that I probably would bump Batman Begins and considered it along w/ The Dark Knight. So list would be similar :)
