everything you knew and loved about the novels is brought to the screen, Holmes bare knuckle boxing, holmes in a sword fight, holmes tasing a 7 foot giant, exactly as doyle wrote it! But this isnt trying to really be a faithful adaptation, rather an entertaining action buddy comedy, and in that it succeeds, the plot actually intrigued me more than i thought it would, all the acting is good and i liked how its holmes intelligence and attention to detail that aids him, a good time at the movies
