In my opinion Re-Animator should have been a standalone and as good as it was it was tarnished by the sequels...Dolls is a decent stand alone movie that I remember vividly from my childhood as it scared the crap out of me. The movies I chose are not necessarily the best by the Director's, but they are my favorites...

Great choices My Friend !! Brilliant DOCUMENTARY choice , I was THINKING about '' PUMPKINHEAD '' for MONSTER as well .

Nuns on the Run! I remember always seeing the trailer for that on one of the Elm Street sequels back in the good old VHS days!
Some great stuff here. I agree with you and AVP. I didn't like it much.

really find Bale pretty bland as Wayne/Batman. Solid but nothing special at all, strangely enough he's by far my favourite actor out of all the Batmans. Nice list though, I actually dug Routh as Kent though wish he had a more memorable movie to back him up
I think Bale masters Bruce's darkness mixed with his facade of a spoiled yuppy who has no clue. I think Bale has it all over Keaton, but to each their own. We superman fans have our own favorite Superman's too.

Good picks and good support with The Punisher 1989 which I thought was a good Punisher flick too.

I love Season of the Witch. Obviously not as a MM movie but it's a blast for Halloween time.
I don't get the massive hate for WAR ZONE from "fans" either. Sure it's colorful, cartoonish, over the top and cheesy as hell, but so are most of The Punisher comics, especially the WAR ZONE comics from the 90's from which the movie gets it's subtitle. That may not be the version of The Punisher you want, but it's not as if it's a complete deviation from the source material or anything. It's actually a much more accurate adaptation than the previous movies.

I'm getting to the age where I can't wait for #6 so I have an acceptable excuse to visit toy stores.
@randy - I get that they sort of conflict, I love MP3 technology and use my MP3 player on a regular basis...but just when purchasing music I tend to prefer having something physical in my hands. Maybe it just makes me feel like I've gotten something of value for my money....I'm the same with movies, I'd rather have a Physical disk in hand than download it online...I just bought Twilight Princess for the Wii, my kids are slowly learning about Link now! LOL

I love what Robot Chicken does with the M.A.S.K. action figures! great list

@Anakin - Scouser...that's Liverpool right?...I was tormented in school as a kid in Canada for my accent so I guess as a natural defense mechanism I lost it...although when i'm around my parents it comes back instantly...I have no control over it at all and my kids often ask me why I talk funny around Grandma and Grandad! LOL
@Righteous - Have you seen Bottom? IMHO it's better than Young Ones....New Statesman was also half decent, just not as vulgar.
Yep. Liverpool. Bottom was mint aswell. As is Drop Dead Fred. I use to get pains from laughing so much.
No, I haven't seen that show yet I'm gonna check into that now since you mentioned it.

"so why don't you get happy!" haha Drop Dead Fred. I LOVE Rik Mayall, I've been looking for that movie on dvd forever and come up with nothin everytime.
@Righteous Faustus - It's one of the few DVDs I held onto when converting to Blu Ray....pretty rare from what I understand.

Don't mean to quibble, but I saw Dead Snow in the theater and if by The Punisher you mean Tom Jane's then it also came out in the theater as well as the original Cube. Or I could just be completely misunderstanding what you mean. I did immensely dig all three of those, though.
@Electro - We didn't get Dead Snow in theaters, it was probably very limited release. I meant Dolph Lundgren Punisher....I was originally going to put Cube 2 and Zero in there, but I love the whole series, so just flipped it to trilogy.

Wow U beat me to see "RUSH!" love them. + I just added the remaining "opening acts" for each that had an "opener". U saw a load of cool bands too. "Iron Maiden!" another good one and "Fleetwood Mac" U caught as well, nice.
Yeah, there are a bunch more that didn't make the list...I think I've seen Rush 6 times now and Maiden 5...but it was nice to see them with Blaze while he was in the band. #1 was my first time seeing them live as a teenager so it has more meaning than most of the others since they were huge to me at the time (well, they still are pretty big to me...)

I've tried but I can't listen to any Rush after Grace Under Pressure. And that's pushing it.
You should really check out their last two releases...they really have an old school feeling. No more keyboards...

3. U were ahead of time risk-taker. Glad it worked out. @ 17?! U were groovin' kid.
@nerd85 - Oops, my mistake...It was such a long time ago, my now brother in law was really into it too, used to play the card game all the time - Lost interest when they started expanding.

ahhhh Fleetwood Mac, that band should just be a requirement in every list.

The Guardian worth a watch then? I actually liked Holes and to a lesser extent Chain Reaction
@WP-DFA - Holes and Chain Reaction were both good movies, I just felt everything above them were better. The Guardian I enjoyed quite a bit, Kutcher showed that he can actually act when necessary...

Eddie and Richie could easily come back for a new show.
MTV Unplugged would be great but does MTV still play music???
Unfortunately an MTV Unplugged would probably include lots of hip-hop (not the good kind), shit-rock (of the Nickelback ilk) and quasi indie rock bands that are being pushed by major labels.

Just don't watch the needle go through your skin when you get blood taken. I almost fainted from light-headedness afterwards.
@Weapon X - The reason for the dislike of Nutella...I get the craving for Nutella maybe once a year, I buy a jar, eat it and then it sits on the shelf untouched until the next time...by the next time it's past expiry and no good.

@girlcreeture - Thanks LOL - As a guitar player, I worship George Lynch and his playing style. I do love Dokken and have even stuck with them through all their post-Lynch era...plus have all the Lynch solo stuff...I'm hoping Dokken eventually get their shit together and go back on tour with the main lineup again (bucket list concert)...
Maiden I've seen 6 times to date (once with Blaze on Virtual XI tour) - Love them...originally started playing Bass so Rush and Maiden were pretty big inspirations to me when I was in High School...Everyone else was listening to Nirvana and Pearl Jam...I was rocking Number of the Beast and Powerslave! LOL
Lynch is an underrated player and it's too bad Mr. Scary was the only solo to make it onto a Dokken album (I stopped chasing them after the live double Beast From the East). I saw them on their first reunion tour and they were great but when I met them afterwards it was obvious the only two shiny happy ones were Mars and Pilson. (-。-;
Nirvana & Pearl Jam have their places but it's no contest when Maiden is involved \m(`_´)m/
hehehe. Yeah Don and George really don't see eye to eye, George really hasn't had much luck with lead singers. Lynch Mob came through Toronto earlier this year and I REALLY wanted to see them, but couldn't chance wasting the money...You think George had his problems with Don, check out this video (just fast go to the 2:00 Mark) - Oni Logan has some serious issues...and George looks so pissed off, you almost feel bad for him....

123 7 GREAT picks! saw a bit of Arthur on TV too and it actually wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting
Equilibrium was really good,Alot of people don't know about this movie.
saw a trailer for Equilibrium and when it never made it to the theaters I had to buy it! It was totally worth the buy! this I think was what made Bale a good canidate for Batman

#1 - My favorite wrestler. Love the guy. I'm extremely jealous.
2 - Shame, but she probably gets hit on a lot.
3-4 - Excellent. I liked Brian in "Dream On".
8 - Epic.
9. Me too. Several wrestlers and football players.
Cool dude! For some reason that's what I'd picture Colin Ferrell to do....still got to see him, with a little acknowledgement!
#8 - I would have fainted, so yes to me that counts! I am super jealous of Kotto, awesome dude!

Forgot about feardotcom haha. Probably for a reason.
How about Hellraiser vs Phantasm?

Rocky IV is pretty much a relic of the 80's and is pretty laughable in a lot of scenes now. But I still enjoy seeing all of the other films on your list.

ah man, I remember walking through my video store around 12 or so and seeing the VHS cover of Return of the Living Dead 3, that freaked me out and made me curious to check it out. Love this stuff.
@Righteous_faustus - ROTLD3 is my fav of the series, I saw it many times as a kid and then didn't see it for years...wasn't until I saw it years later I realized that it was Melinda Clarke in the lead who also played Priest in Spawn and was also in The O.C...

Happy B-Day Clive! Love the list dude! Haven't seen Nightbreed in a while....

It probably does, can't say I've ever seen it the whole way through...sadly I can almost recite Camp Rock word for word thanks to my Daughter and her obsession with it...

Stampede had a bunch of great tracks on it, it's really grown on me!
7 - nice

oh come on, D2 should be above The Love Guru and Chicks With Sticks at least! (but I see why you put The Love Guru up there, go Leafs!)
I was super disappointed with The Rocket though, a damn shame...
Yeah the Love Guru barely made the list - was saved by the Leafs.
I only ever really enjoyed the first Ducks movie. hehehe...Don't knock Chicks with Sticks, it was actually a pretty solid movie.
I was home last weekend and found Slapshot on OnDemand. My Dad walked by right before the Hansen brothers first game and needless to say he sat down and watched it till the end with me.

@timmyd - Vinyl's weren't big when I was a kid as CDs were just coming in, a local guy who ran a used CD store knew I was a huge Rush fan and let me have that Vinyl for $20...looking around it's priced online in the $500+ range. I'm sure the guy sold it to me knowing that I was a collector or Rush stuff and wouldn't ever part with it (and he was right...)

@Laksmikanti - Thanks for that, It's a Volume release...I am holding off (and not holding my breath) for a full Season release as they had 6 seasons...
This list inspired me as I woke up to the kids watching The Real Ghostbusters that they borrowed from the library...reminded me of stuff I used to watch as a kid.
