Just to mention it, I do also love the version by Tom Waits himself, which was used for Season 2. For whatever reason, I've been preferring the Neville Bros. version.

This is huge because if The Hobbit leaves New Zealand, it would effectively be a disaster for the New Zealand film industry and the country itself. The LOTR films brought in tons of money and growth for the film industry of the country and if the production leaves, the money vanishes and growth halted.
The Entire Country Benefits from the making of these films and with New Zealand in a Recession it would be a boost they need.My gut feeling tells me it will stay in New Zealand but if it doesn't you wouldn't want to admit you are an Actor.
Like most of my country men I was proud of Mr Jacksons Lord of the Rings even thou I have moved away to Australia I will Be Gutted and incredibly pissed off.
It's a shame. It seems everything I read says Helen Kelly is nothing more than a Hand-puppet for the people in Australia and really doesn't have a clue. She seems to effictively screwing the pooch for the thousand or so actors in NZ. I'm pretty interested in seeing what develops on Monday when WB comes down there.

This seriously deserves another posting. This may be the darkest thing to have ever been shown on The Simpsons, with the tone and subject matter...and it's also the biggest middle finger the show has given to Fox ever. It even puts the show itself in a bad light…
