Hunter S. Thompson's audio commentary on that is beyond surreal. Gilliam, Depp, and Del Toro all offer terrific stuff on their commentaries. Interesting deleted scenes as well.
Just out of curiosity, did you take advantage of B&N's free shipping? If so, how long did it take to receive your DVDs?
There's a few more Criterion DVDs I want to buy, all of which are out of stock/sold out at my local B&N store. I need to know the delivery time of B&N's free shipping because I want to ensure I'll receive my DVDs before Thanksgiving (as long as I place my order sometime today).
My friend works at a B&N up in Massachusetts and he's been making out like a bandit with that deal. Sadly, I'm broke as a joke. Luckily I already have the F&L one, but I'm jealous of your Third Man buy.
I did. My order came in pretty quick. I was given the chance to have the package come in at 3-5 days shipping time for free. I ordered them on the 13th and they came in yesterday. If you order by today or tomorrow, you should get them before Turkey Day.
