The Founder was brilliant. And found it fascinating learning about the early history of McDonald's.

I liked the character Ray Kroc up until the end but the handshake deal on royalties and opening a McDonald’s franchise across the street from the original restaurant to put it out of business was pure evil. I can understand in a way what he did. He worked hard franchising and opening many restaurants but was still in debt and was on the verge of losing his house ect. Taking what the brothers had created and building on it, but having to ask the brothers first, getting the OK before making changes, little changes, even if they make financial sense but getting turned down. Eventually this leads Ray, to go around the McDonald brothers and contract and gaining full control and turning it into a business empire we see and eat from today.

Really good, well made film. With a terrific performance from Michael Keaton. Highly recommended biographical movie.
