They're all good films, it's just hard putting them in some sort of order, I'm usually a huge Coen fan but True Grit just felt like another western to me, great performances, cinematography, direction etc. but I guess I was expecting No Country For Old Men style excellence. But still the 10 nominees this year are much better than last year.

As a British person I would like to say that I wouldn't care if an American were to play James Bond, or a if an Australian were to play Sherlock Holmes or if a Mexican were to play The Doctor, all I care is that they are talented and true to the characters, also Sean Connery played James Bond, an English character, and Sir Sean is possibly the most Scottish person to ever exist.
So yeah, bring on Superman, I personally never identified him with Americana and all that jazz.
I been saying they're keeping clips from his scenes under wraps for good reason.
