Yeah, actually out of the 3 movies it's the only one I haven't watched on the format yet.
How do the other 2 look? I have them but have yet to watch them...i'm slacking...
With Evil Dead 1 it really brings attention to the grain so it's best to watch it in the 1.33:1 aspect ratio, which is the original ratio anyway...the widescreen version simply cuts the top and bottom off so you're actually missing picture. So with the "square" presentation you're getting more image and the grain is less evident and considering how low budget the movie is, they cleaned it up pretty nicely. Evil Dead 2...I actually don't remember exactly how it looks but I remember being impressed.
