Aw dude, I would love to have seen JASON GOES TO HELL and HALLOWEEN 6 in theaters!
Among many others. If only I had a DeLorean...

I still can't believe they showed this shit on Nickelodeon.. pretty dark and twisted (even violent at times) for a kid's show. Signs of an age that we'll never be able to go back to.
What? I did not know this. But then again, I rarely fling children from windows to improve their health.
What Legendary Suit said, however the idea of wearing a ring to walk in the sun light I saw it first on Buffy.
John Landis once said something similar to what cerealkiller wrote, so cerealkiller's thoughts are in good company.
However, writers do need to understand audience expectations and practice, well, good audience sense. Thus, if viewers will never accept daywalkers, don't do the daywalkers thing, writers.
It will always depend on how it's handled... hey, as long as they don't sparkle no?
Heard it was a damn fun, cheesy popcorn flick. Lookin forward to checking it out. Too bad you didn't like it man!
I hated it. It was overlong, there were several scenes that made absolutely no sense whatsoever (as much as a film about Abraham Lincoln killing vampires could possibly be considered as "sense") and no one in particular gave a worth while performance. There were long drags of scenes that repeated emotions that no longer needed to be conveyed to move the story forward and there were several characters that had zero personality, adding nothing to the film.
Sorry guys, I'm just not on board with this one. If I were watching it at home I most likely would have gotten up to turn it off halfway through, and I hardly ever do that. To each is own and all of that but I felt that this movie was just a waste of my time and money.
* KIND OF, SORT OF SPOILERISH *
* Oh yeah, and the final moments of the film ... VAMPIRES CANNOT SEE INTO THE FUTURE! So don't go giving me that knowing, forlorn look as Lincoln makes his way to the theater for that fateful encounter with Booth.
go into it expecting exactly what a title like Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter promises which is crazy, over-the-top action and yeah it's pretty silly and shouldn't be taken seriously. It's a lot fo fun

just watched this a week or so ago. Cool flick, gorgeous visuals... and yeah a VERY big inspiration for Inception
edit: didn't know it was in the database! Didn't think it was there when I first checked... Should work on a review I guess!
I haven't seen it, I'll bet it's better than INCEPTION though.
@Cochise - If you haven't seen the late Satoshi Kon's other work, I recommend PERFECT BLUE. It's the only film I've seen of his thus far, a psychological thriller. Masterful.

Congratulations. The human mind's analytical skills are an amazing thing. Apparently, your brain was well-ENGINEERED. Don't drink any slug coffee in Iceland ;)
