It's a little annoying when you share an obviously amazing film with someone and their reaction is just, "Yeah. It was alright, I guess?" FLYING FACE PUNCH!!!
I often get this reaction: "Did that have subtitles?" I say Yes. They say, "I won't watch it then. I don't do subtitles." End of discussion.

I've learned that we cannot all be on the same page at the same time and now do my best to turn my expectations down when I watch something I treasure with someone who hasn't seen it before.
@MovieManMark - this conversation is the kiss of death with me. If someone attempts to have this conversation with me most of my social etiquette gets turned off and I get... rude...
