Tower Heist was alright. I found myself actually taken aback by the amount of genuine laughs Murphy was able to get out of me during this film. Stiller still bores me as a comedy actor outside of Zoolander and Tropic Thunder but all in all it was a *fun* watch. 6.5/10

Got to see FREAKS for the first time tonight. It was a wonderfully executed film that certainly stands out for it's time. 9.5/10

Admiration & Animation
Found this in my Inbox this morning:
Hey Steve,
Love Ink & Pixel man. Ive wanted a column like this to exist for so long and now I am happy one finally does where the writer does their homework! I actually print off the articles as they are published and keep them in a binder on my bookshelf. This makes it easier for me to show others who come over to watch movies.(I am known as the "animation guy" in my group of friends). Your articles often sway others to watch some of my favorite animated flicks with me and for that I cannot thank you enough.
Fellow Schmoe dankfoo
This put such a BIG smile on my face this morning. Thank man, I needed that.
Chillin'Wow that's really awesome dude, you have a set of fans!! Keep up the good work dudeman
@nerd85 - What I'm doing with Ink & Pixel is no miracle. I have a passion for animation that simply cannot be quenched by keeping what I know about these films to myself.
Many folks often dismiss animation as an entertainment form that is only meant to entertain children, but as we all know, they are sorely mistaken. Animation, color, shapes - these are all very emotional elements of art that go far beyond being mere "cartoons". That's why I write Ink & Pixel - to be sure that these films get the credit they deserve.
It is an article well worth all the praise. You obviously work really hard to deliver the best information on the movie as possible.
Hey kids, let's get some action going on the latest Ink & Pixel article on The Digital Dorm. It took a lot out of me to get this one done and it's totally worth your reading it. Share, leave love, and be well.
Great article! That last sentence really touched me for some reason.
I'm a man of simple tastes. I enjoy.....

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was just awful. 4.5/10
That was an easy synopsis. The only tidbit I'd like to know is how are the Rider scenes which is the only reason to see this flick.

Chillin'Could someone maybe point me in the direction of where I can vote for the Golden Schmoes before I miss my chance? Thanks.
That! and please don't forget to vote in the MFC Schmoe Awards on the blogs of Horrorfan23.
Don't forget that the latest Ink & Pixel was posted today in The Digital Dorm. This week we take a look at how Disney's DUMBO may have very well saved Disney Animation Studios in a time when the whole world was in crisis. Enjoy.
Adventure Time is my new favorite show.
The commercials I see for it makes me lmao but I just haven't got around to watching it yet.
Rosie O'Donnell was allowed far too much ad lib banter in A League of Their Own. Seriously, she's got something to say at every turn. Ugh.
And so something that was once so beautiful, must end …

It pains me to bring you all this very sad news, but Kitty Green and I have decided to part ways. Unforgivable events have taken place and have left us with no alternative but to leave the comfort of each other’s arms and souls. We both love you all very much and please ask that you respect our decision and privacy in this matter. Should any of you care to learn the story of how this event came to be you may message me privately, though understand that it may take time before I respond to you all.
Since the both of us have remained constant supporters and contributors of the MFC community we have shared much with many of you, and wish not to lose what will be most definitely be a safe haven for us both through this pained and difficult end. We will always remember the time we spent together when things were pure and want nothing more than for this transition to be as problem free as possible.
I know that you all must have questions, but please, be patient, and do your best to contact us privately in this matter. Neither of us wishes to poison this community with our now very negative reality, you’re all just too important to us for that.
My heart has been reduced to dust, I love you all, and none of this was ever supposed to happen. Should you ever enter into the equivocal realm of love, remember … honesty above all else. Without honesty there is no respect. And without any respect there is no going back.
And so something that was once so beautiful, must end …
SurprisedDA I am very sorry to hear this and can't find any words to express how moving is this. You know that I feel a deep respect for you and also a great admiration. I am sending the best energy and good vibes for you both and needless to say we are here for you both.
Hey man,
I'm going through a divorce myself, as we speak. It is a difficult time and I can empathize (although every situation is different). Feel free to PM me anytime, I'd be happy to help in any way I can. Good luck brother!
:( One of my biggest highlights from last year was hanging out with you two and I hold you both dearly in my heart, no matter what happened, no matter what happens be sure I will be there whenever you need to talk or if you're in the vicinity and in need of some bigass burritos :) best of luck man, I wish you nothing but the best!
Watching a little Space Jam.
