I'd probably say Haywire lol I'm assuming The Grey will do pretty well. People love Liam Neeson. Taken and Unknown did very well at the box office.
It's tough though because I think I wanna see The Grey more, but just by a hair.
Well I saw Haywire. LOVED IT! and I am interested in seeing the Grey..but it will have a longer run since its coming out this friday so I saw see Haywire first...
Or see both!
I just don't get it. Why people still respect the Oscars and other awards... I mean really, why? Because we were always told repeatedly that they were the smartest people and what they say goes? Come on now, I trust most of us watch it for the fun of it, but don't take much if any of it too seriously. Yeah it's fun to see something we like get recognition but if something we don't like does -- whoopdee doo, that's their opinion not ours. The only difference between the two is they have a spotlight on theirs, it's no more right or wrong than any Schmoe's on MFC
My VALID Oscar complaints
can't comment on 3, 4, 6, 7
the rest I fucking agree. I guess they didn't feel Trent and Ross "deserved" a second nomination after grabbing their Oscar - sort of like "You've got one already, go away" you know? I wouldn't be surprised at all, Hollywood politics are always dirty, just like in DC. LOL
as long as they get your awards that's as good as theirs ;)
personally though I gotta disagree with Albert Brooks. I liked Drive, but really didn't get the big deal with his performance. It was good, but not THAT good

I did the exact same thing pretty much with my top 10. Put all the posters together(using Paint) for a mini collage.
Nice list dude! You've got 1/2 the films I put on my Top 10 list. Especially nice to see the love to I Saw The Devil.

I really enjoyed Timecrimes.
