I was enjoying The Office US and then they had to go and ruin it by adding Catherine fucking Tate to the cast, one of the most annoying, unfunny, "comedians" (or just persons in general) on the planet. Please tell me she dies at some point and isn't in the last season...

I suppose there's one positive thing that can be said about Hercules... it's not as bad as The Legend of Hercules.

More like Hercu-less.

Yeah, I've made that joke before, it's still funny.

Possible big screen Babylon 5 reboot? I'm normally very hesitant when it comes to reboots (especially of things I love) but I wouldn't mind seeing that happen.
Cochise at 10:24 AM Aug 08

I never got into that series at all but I'm always down for more sci-fi and again I don't know much about this but I think it could make for a really cool blockbuster reboot. I'd be there.

I never saw the show, but like Cochise.. I would be interested in seeing it on the big screen.
I don't get why it needs to be labeled a reboot.. How about just continuing the adventure almost like Star Trek did with "The Next Generation".

Cronos at 01:02 PM Aug 08

That's part of why I usually take issue with reboots but the way the series played out would probably make it difficult to convincingly continue the story.

Plus with the series being 20 years old (realising that makes me feel old), I expect getting funding would be easier going the reboot route.

I highly recommend checking out the series, it's a favourite of mine.

There's news floating around (still no direct official word) they're going to close the production side of the company and just focus on managing their existing IP. :'(

Cronos at 10:07 AM Aug 04

Yeah, going to have to wait for official word from the studio. Really hope it was wrong.

Disappointed with Under the Skin, thought I'd like it but other than some nice visuals it's really not very good.

i liked it

Cochise at 05:28 PM Jul 30

agreed Cronos.

I have to disagree you there. It's the best film that I've seen so far this year. It was extraordinary.

Ohhhh shit, poor Expendables, someone's dun goofed.
razgriz21 at 02:20 PM Jul 24

I call it retribution for catering to tweens.

Cochise at 02:30 PM Jul 24

ah that really sucks. I hope this doesn't affect it at the box office too much. Looks awesome. I'll hold off til it's in the theatre over here.

@razgriz21 You know that's not the real and you know it!

Need for Speed was a nice surprise, very entertaining car movie.

While it's strange to see director's remake one of their own films, McKee/Sivertson's All Cheerleaders Die is a lot of fun.
grelber37 at 11:45 PM Jul 12

Agreed. All Cheerleaders Die is good, and its main virtue is that the film is a lot of fun to watch. ACD succeeds both as thrilling horror and satirical comedy.

Haven't seen this one yet but I seen the trailer and it looked like a fun movie. Glad to hear you both liked it.

Seven episodes into Spartacus and I'm kinda starting to like the appallingly bad CGI.

Caught up with Parks and Recreation last night. I love this series so much, after the iffy start it grew on me more and more and now I'd put it up there with my other favourite series. Great cast and characters that actually develop over the seasons and incredibly funny. Definitely one I'll go back to and revisit. Can't wait for season 7.
Glinda at 12:49 PM Jul 05

Same on all counts. I wasn't wild about the first season when it aired and gave up on it when that one ended. Then later when I joined here and saw all the love, I started back at Season 2 and ended up falling in love with it. Better and better each season, which is rare. Top favorite sitcoms ever now. I did go back and rewatch the first season again and liked it much better on re-watch.

Agree, can't wait for Season 7!

Watched the Dumb and Dumber To trailer... that was a joke trailer right? Right guys? Please tell me it was a fake intentionally unfunny trailer...
Derek237 at 07:37 AM Jun 11

Maybe they're saving the good jokes for the actual movie.
