Transformers 4 is now dead to me.

Disney bought Lucasfilm... I actually felt sick reading that. After some of his recent comments I was expecting it to happen, but still...
And to think everyone blasted Lucas for "milking" the series... Disney will make it look like child's play.
there is a TON that can be done with this franchise still, especially in terms of live action films -- and it's not milking. With the right passionate and creative minds behind it (which I'm sure there will be) there are a lot of places still left to go, far out of milking territory
Everyone said that same exact shit when they bought marvel, and Disney proved them wrong.they will do it again.
They already have a trilogy planned as well as TV... they've got it set up in their dairy farm ready to go. And just think of the individual DVD/BR releases and box sets. Hey, if they prove me wrong I'll happily admit it.

Read one article about how Fox are adding end cards to their films explaining the cost of "piracy" (which I find hilarious as no "pirate" will see it on a cam rip)... Then read an article about how Skyfall has destroyed UK box office opening night/weekend records... yup, "piracy" is definitely killing film.

The Hobbit part 1 is going to be 2 hours 40 minutes apparently (not including credits)... was not expecting that.
Even with the additions they made from other Tolkien material, I wasn't expecting much more than two hours for each film. Forgot who I was dealing with here.

Enjoyed Safety Not Guaranteed more than I expected to.
Branded however was hugely disappointing considering how fun it looked from the trailer.
Yeah, Branded could have been like They Live level of fun. Nope. I got a boring lecture on marketing.
Safety Not Guaranteed was great. Branded, however, is the worst movie of the year IMO.
This is so awesome. It makes that scene in RETURN OF THE JEDI very heartbreaking. Haha! ;)
