+ Stephen Dorff does a great job
+ solid direction
+ for the most part a well written, solid script (in a smart way, it never falls into one of those movies where you always go 'you stupid character, just do this/think of this, it's not that hard!' it's always written so that the character either thinks of a solution along with the audience and a couple times even before)
- although I liked the ending (which is a love or hate type of ending) I thought it definitely could've been pulled off better
It's an enjoyable movie. Think of it as three parts Buried one part Saw. Unfortunately the sum does not equal a movie as good as either Saw or Buried, but it still adds up to an enjoyable experience thanks to good acting from Dorff who plays a well written, realistic, relateable character who isn't your usual dumb-movie character stereotype that can't think of the obvious things that'll help the situation.
