PROS:
+ beautiful visuals and cinematography
+ fantastic direction
+ great script, dark and twisted but with some great humour
+ good cast, well acted and interesting and fun characters
+ great music, score and licensed tracks
+ fantastic action sequences and set pieces (imagine if they did this movie nowadays, imagine how much of it would be CG)
CONS:
- final act drags a bit and the pacing seems off compared to everything before. Final act unfortunately not as entertaining as the first two. Unfortunately that means the payoff isn't as rewarding as it could've been either
- ends rather abruptly and not a very fulfilling or appealing ending, though it does work somewhat if you really follow the movie and the subtext.
OVERALL:
It's a highly enjoyable film and one of the best war films ever. A truly stunning film that unfortunately does stumble a bit in the final act but everything before that prevents the movie from sinking whatsoever. Highly recommended.
