Tron 3D, here we come.
Rest in peace, Pete Postlethwaite.
I know dude, it sucks. I just caught The Town on Friday and thought that he was so great in his scenes. He'll be missed.
2010 was like Megan Fox's acting career – it went by in a flash and no one will miss it. Happy New Year everyone!
Just watched Machete (started out strong, but could have lost half an hour, was just too long) and Devil (also started out strong, but needed to lose Mr. Mexican Exposition, especially the narration). Overall a so-so double feature.
Going to a friend's place on Wednesday for a movie night. The choices are: THE LAST EXORCISM, DEVIL, or MACHETE. We may only be able to watch one or two, depending on time. Which would be the best option(s)?
I liked the Last Exorcism.. well, maybe that ending was a sellout but I dug it, I liked the documentary, is it or isnt it angle
Hmmm, I think Devil may be the first choice, and then we can flip a coin over the other two. They both look like a good time, but for different reasons. If Devil sucks, at least we can spend the duration of the movie complaining about M. Night.
Harry Potter was great, even if it felt like a film with no third act. I just wish they'd brought John Williams back.
I know.. I think Alexander Desplat did a fine job but ironically that MAGIC touch was gone
PIRANHA 3D - what a crazy ass movie. Elisabeth Shue still looks HOT!
ATTA-BOY, loved this flick, and I couldn't agree MORE , LIZZIE SHUE IS STILL A FOX !!
A group of us went to a friend's place on Saturday night to drink and watch horror movies. We ended up drinking and talking most of the night, so only had time to watch one. It was a choice between THE THING, HALLOWEEN, ALIEN... or PUMPKINHEAD. We chose poorly.
Went to a Halloween Horror Fest screening of The Exorcist last night. Great to see it on the big screen again and great that it's still so effective!

What you've heard about Jonah Hex is true... it's garbage. I guess that's what happens when you hire the director of Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! to direct your film about a GUY WITH A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF HIS FACE WHO KILLS PEOPLE AND TALKS TO THE DEAD!
It's my birthday on Sunday. I'll be 26. One step closer to 30 and three steps closer to looking like Walter Matthau.
I met Ian McKellen last night! He was performing Waiting for Godot at a theatre here in Cape Town and I waited after the show. Shook his hand and got him to sign my Fellowship DVD. I also told him I was hoping he would do the entire play in character as Gandalf and he replied, "I have more than one character in me." So I managed to annoy Gandalf in 21.8 seconds. Fuck yeah!

Today will be Tron for me too! Although I'm trying out those D-Box thingies
