I am trying to stay away from social media tonight. I have been fairly successful in avoiding all of the viral campaigning that they did for THE HUNGER GAMES and as a rabid fan of the books (as well as Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson), I am eagerly looking forward to waiting outside my local theater to watch the midnight showing in our faux-MAX screens.
Are the books good? I have heard they are young adult oriented and i am certainly not one of those.
Worth reading??
I'm not a young adult either or the target audience and I really liked them a lot. They're quick reads, you can get through the first in a day, and they move along quickly. Completely recommend it.
I've been pretty successful in avoiding a lot about it too, in fact I didn't even realize Woody was in it until last night when I say a commercial on TV. Have fun!
