I thought it looks stupid. Hollywood really needs to get of the remake or rahash other franchise wagon. It's like they absolutely can't do anything original anymore
It might be funny as hell, but let's call a spade a fucking spade, fellas.
The movie, other than the tenuous concept that these are somewhat young looking cops going undercover at a high school, has NOTHING to do with the more melodramatic, serious nature of the television show.
Back when Fox was willing to be brave and feature things like a young teen getting convinced to be in a porn movie. Or Johnny Depp getting locked up in a mental ward for teens and getting hit on by a crazy Christina Applegate. While it might not have been high-brow drama, it was still a decent drama.
This movie is a slap in the face to all of the people who worked on that show because it is clearly an excuse to capitalize on the name and nostalgia factor the show's demographic had. It might be funny as hell, but I REFUSE to watch it because it couldn't have managed to do the same thing without needing to call itself 21 JUMPSTREET? Come the fuck on, man.
