I'd just like to thank everyone for the kind words they shared. My dad had bypass surgery to clear five arteries and correct a heart murmur; shortly after, his kidneys failed and he went into cardiac arrest and died Sunday the 26th.

Found out today that my dad had a heart attack last night and is having open heart surgery Thursday. Leaving for Texas in the morning; the situation is pretty shitty, but I'm looking forward to seeing my family.

Shaun of Dead is the best, one movie that tries to come close is The Doghouse with its british humor. WA mentions some great far from your standard fare movies. Night of the Living Dead is my fave "of the dead" moves and for something a little offbeat you can go with Sexy Killer (if you can find it) :p
