Ealier today, I watched the weirder-than-hell-but-still-creepy BLUE SUNSHINE. An underappreciated horror masterpiece.
Thanks 4 the memories, Brett. You lead my Vikings the best you could. We'll miss you, Brett Favre.
This might sound weird, but as I type this, I've watched THE SOCIAL NETWORK trailer like ten times because I love the sound of someone typing on a keyboard. Also, I'm just excited for the movie as it is.
Saw TOY STORY 3 at the midnight opening last night. Just as good, if not better than the first two.
My to watch list today: TWO-LANE BLACKTOP, REPO MAN and a little of "Burn Notice" season 2. My favorite show that isn't "Mad Men"
Watched MEAN STREETS last night. Masterpiece. A top five in the crime drama genre. Loved it. I don't think Tarantino wouldn't know how to use his music so effectively had Scorsese didn't.
Is it just me, or does MAJOR LEAGUE 2 seem like one of the, if not, the most forgettable sequel of all time? Like literally forgettable. You know, like you and your buddy are talking about how funny as balls the first one is, and then you ask what he or she thought of the second one and they go, "There was a MAJOR LEAGUE 2????"
I disagree completely. How can anyone forget about Rube, or the Asian, or Parkman... I could go one but I won't. While not great, it wasn't a "horrible" sequel.
Every time I read about Bryan Singer's JACK THE GIANT KILLER I get excited (even if Joblo.com has reported that it'll be pushed back). That's actually a good thing 'cause Singer can take more time and effort to think about how awesome he'll make it. I don't care if it's in 3D, I wanna see this thing tomorrow.
Got back a little bit ago from watching Henry Rollins scream on stage for nearly 3 hours. That dude's one of my heroes.
Just finished watching the final episode of "Buffy" with a tear in my eye. It's been a pleasure watching how one of the greatest pieces of television and pop culture phenomenom unfolds. As the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end. With that said.....exit "Buffy".....enter "Angel"
Besides having a couple of really bad episodes, season 7 of 'Buffy' is as addicting any previous season before.
I'm one of those film geeks that picks out his five all time favorite film lists, and then totally changes it later on. Does anyone else hate that at all?
Got done watching BEFORE SUNRISE. Damn good movie. One of those movies that connects with you so well because it feels so real.
First time ever watching it. One of those flicks in my "need to watch" list. It's filled with a lot of movies that you'll see and go, "Dude! You haven't seen that????"
But yeah, I loved it
It breaks my heart over and over. Now it's time for you to watch Before Sunset.
Damn, it feels good to be a gangsta

The fact that Trent Reznor did the soundtrack will have me in the theater opening weekend.
