Haha this is classic! They actually incorporated the IM theme into the first movie at the awards dinner in the beginning and Rhodey's ring tone. This has inspired my latest status.

It's because I am a huge fan of all of these films that I will use them to make this statement. Using the overuse of CGI and green screen as one reason for hating one film and almost completely praising it in another just shows how biased we can be as fans. The dino-stampede in King Kong is the awful equivalent of the Tarzan swing in Crystal skull. Both the absurdity of the scene and the awful execution of the look of it. The battle with the huge elephants at the end of Return of the King is no different than the Battle in the Geonosis arena in Attack of the clones. I'm not saying that both Lucas productions are better or even as good as Jackson's. But to criticize it so endlessly for one and not only let it slide, but even praise it for another is ridiculous. CGI is a work in progress and it still looks fake in every movie that it's in, not just the ones that you hate.
No, it's all good with me guys. I just didn't want any hard feelings from anybody else. Even with a "jacked up" movie conversation, it was still a movie conversation, so I enjoyed it.
Hope you will enjoy King Kong Yosh, cause it really is a beautiful film.
No hard feelings but Weta > Industrial Light and Magic.. to lazy to put in more words haha but they just work harder and feels slicker and less "fakey" but I still understand your point and agree halfway
^ I can't really disagree with that statement randy. But, I can't help but wonder if it has to do more with the producers that hire ILM are just cheapskates and just cut corners with their budget, rather than ILM cutting corners. Avatar is arguable the most beautiful film in the digital age and it was done by ILM. We all know that James Cameron isn't gonna skimp on the budget if it is gonna sacrifice his vision. The same with JJ Abrahms and Star Trek & Super 8.
