RandomKing@A lot of people hated part 2 which I laughed my ass off so fair enough but don't expect a lot and sit through the credits because the 5 minute add on is the best part of the film

A Random Lists of Things I Miss

1. Brandon lee-I could fill this list with many actors but most of those had their time to shine Brandon's was cut short at the dawn of (I think) wonderful career so he is my one entry from many.
2. Sledge Hammer-Kiwi's got this show in fact a giant ratings hit,not so much in the states where it limped through 2 series and canned.
3. Kiwi Kai(food)-living in Australia there is so muc h Kai I miss form junk food,Fish n Chips(just not the same),Pies(they are shit here),fresh food like apples and Yams etc etc the list is long.
4. Friends and Family-A sacrifice you make when you move to a new city or country
5. The One and Only Original Freddy Krueger series of Nightmares.
6. My Twenties - They were fun years yes but I know I could of done them better.I hate to mention this caus regrets tend to drag you down.
7. The Family Cat- 17 great years
8. The Next big Action Star-During the 80s and 90s the big Studio's attempts to find the next Stallone or Schwarzenegger.
9. My long Hair-The Hair is thinning so I keep it Short.
10. Party Pills-Legal Highs in New Zealand they were great, they still have them but have taken out the BZP.

That was my first thought. My second thought was WillowLand! Ride the sled down the mountain. Face off against SiskelEbert, the 2 headed creature that looks like Clint Howard. Eat a Brownie.

Will Tarantino's film after Django Unchained be a Sword and Sandles(Peplum) style film.He has recently talked about Django being the 2nd part of a trilogy the first being Inglourious Basterds .Does any one see the pattern or have a opinion.

I'd like to see him do a film about the Asian railroad 'workers' I think that could be fantastic, and he does seem to have a thing for Asian culture so I think that's a strong possibility.

2013 has two major end of the world comedies(could be a year late if the predictions are correct)my question for you pick one ,no fence sitters should apply are you a End of the World guy/gal or The World's End guy/gal. For me the choice of watching a bunch of Hollywood wankers playing them selves vs Wright directing Frost and Peg is a no brainer but each to their own.

I feel like End of the World will be way more try-hard

YoshioKun13 at 10:03 PM Oct 14

2013 also sees the release of presumably another 'End-of-the-World' type of movie - EVANGELION 4.0

It's not a comedy though.

Killing Them Softly

Killing-them-softly-mondo-poster-ppp

Directed by: -1
Written by:
Cast:
Studio: The Weinstein Company
Genre: Crime, Thriller
Official Site:
Plot: Two losers rob a high stakes Illegal porker game,a hit man must now restore the harmony in the criminal underground before anyone else gets a silly idea.

Review:

This is my first real attempt at a review........

Killing them Softly ends and the screen goes black ,the credits roll down and I ain't ready to leave this film,I'm a little shocked I didn't see it coming.
Having just had a night to sleep over it I now know this is my favourite film of the year the film is a visual, verbal, violent, musical, funny feast and I loved every minute of it.
The cast all put in great performances Pitt,Gandolfini and Jenkins are solid as usual,Liotta has his best role in years,Scoot McNairy is a new name for me watch for and Ben Mendelsohn knocks it out of the park.

Going to keep this short and avoid spoilers so will leave it here but when this film arrives in a theatre near you treat yourself

Other reviews of this film: Strider (8/10) , cerealkiller182 (8/10) > Display all
