A movie inclined friend was actually BETA testing the site and sent me the invite. Been tooling around for awhile and its actually quite neat. Not very social, more like a way to keep track of what you see, what you like and keep your collection organized which is nice. If you want to join I have 3 invites, so PM me and I can send it your e-mail!

^^ If/when you two see it, you'll have to let me know what you thought! Even if you don't love the story, I'm sure you'll come away saying how amazing it looks. There are scenes where she and other characters, look all too real. Normally I'm not impressed by 3D but in this case it really added depth to the film in a good way that enhanced water, nature and other elements.
When I do that I usually end up not watching anything, or going with a Disney or Muppet movie lol I don't have to pay attention if I so choose and I can sing along. Tonight might be a Goofy Movie kind of night lol
They ended up giving me a free pass, which I used for The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. True story.
I thought Lively was good in The Town and I can imagine whoever had a hand in casting probably thought O was similar enough to that type of character, but more like a higher class version of it.
WOW! Thats a good story lol Hopefully Spongebob was more enjoyable than Alexander lol
I had completely forgotten she was even in the Town! Now that I think about it, I guess O is a similar role but not nearly as trashy and without having to put on a terrible accent. I've heard the rest of the cast is quite good so once a real review comes out I'll decide.
^they usually have some very cool stuff at Petco Park during SDCC. This DOES look fun but I don't know if I'll be paying for it... he man party on the other hand, it's right up my alley.
@randychico....Agreed, it would be nice if it was free but since we're not paying for a hotel or SDCC tickets, its not a huge expense. I'm mostly curious to see the course, and the make up since the actual Walking Dead team is doing everything. The He-Man party is going on Friday at Hennessey's Tavern in the gas lamp district. My boyfriend is involved with He-man.org and does a lot of customs for fun so its mainly his deal and I'm just being dragged along lol
@Critical...The only time you'd catch me at Petco Park
unless the Giants are there! lol
Goodnight MFC! Here's a little "Atmosphere" :)

^^ Seen it and own it :) Such an underrated little movie that I think even those who don't like JD would really enjoy.
nobody else but Sam Riley could ever come that close to channeling Ian Curtis-
So true, super talented guy to be able to handle a role like that and perfectly. Emulating anyone, especially someone people LOVE is a big challenge.
^^ Haha! I sincerely hope you did exactly that whether you were at a private residence or a public bar lol
Haha exactly! I have a pretty decent collection of similar books. Punk photography, Day of The Dead Art, Olivia Pin Ups....not a kid friendly collection lol
It's bittersweet for sure because while I like her I thought the gal they originally cast (Bill's sire from True Blood) would have KILLED this part. Would have loved to have seen her in this show.
I saw that she was originally cast and thought that would have been a much better fit. The other cast is disastrous so I don't know if she could have carried the entire show on her own but she would have matched the "look" better.
My favorite movie of the year, so far! I hope you join us for the JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat about it tomorrow!
^^ Sadly I don't think I'll be able to make the chat, but will probably do a blog post once I can wrap my head around some kind of theory!! Hope the chat is a success :)

I came across that site fairly recently by accident, chose not to join but it looked like GetGlue.
Maybe I will now. :)
