While I wasn't completely sold on the ending for Source Code, the movie was a smart thriller that I really enjoyed!
Paul, Hobo With a Shotgun, Sucker Punch, Super, Insidious, and Source Code...why are all these movies coming out now? Share the love and put some of this quality in the first three months next time hollywood!
My Film Resume

@ YoshioKun13 Freddy Got Fingered is a movie that I watch with certain friends and it always makes us laugh no matter what. Every time I watch it, it's funnier than the last. I know it's not a "good" movie by any stretch, but at the end of the day, it's the move that makes me laugh more than any other movie.
Battle: Los Angeles was a fun flick but I can't help but feel let down a little.
Saw a 3D trailer for Thor in front of Drive Angry. It's pretty sad when the marketing text between scenes is more crisp and 3D than your movie which looks like a blurry mess. Just another case of a terrible post conversion. Hasn't Hollywood learned yet?!

Remakes Hollywood needs to make!

Disagree an agree in the same breath. Some films I personally wanna see updated (probably wouldn't be as good but) + yes, original ideas (for film) out there, are few. I'd like to work in Hollywood as an ideas man. I blame the so called "bean counters" for lack of original ideas coming to the silver screen, they just fear dropping the $$$ on these original concepts.
@Dr.Frankenstein yeah some movies could be adapted and made well, but in this current climate, where everything is being remade as a quick cash in, I think we would be better served if they just stopped. If the remake cash cow hits a road block, then purposeful and tasteful remakes might start getting made. Until then, Hollywood needs to get the creative juices flowing, and pump out something original.
@lordtyler912 yeah I figured it was, just wanted to express my frustration at remakes and you list provided a great opportunity. Nice stuff!
Best Picture Update: 8/10
True Grit - I didn't think this film was particularly special outside of Jeff Bridges performance. The story wasn't particularly interesting and just barely held the movie together. With a year filled with great male lead performances though, I can't see Bridges beating our Firth.
Best picture update: Seen 7/10
127 Hours - James Franco was great, and the movie was decent. Wasn't big on Boyle's direction
King's Speech - Absolutely amazing! Firth and Rush both are outstanding and are big contenders for actor and supporting actor. My pick for best picture at this point.
Up next: True Grit
Winter's Bone doesn't seem to be playing near me though so it looks like I may only get to 9.
Just checked out Girl Who Played With Fire. Didn't enjoy it as much as Dragon Tattoo but still worthwhile watch.
Saw 3D was pretty good until it decided to be an exact copy of Saw 3-6.
What the hell are you monsters doing to Hellraiser?! I'd rather a reboot than this travesty...
Catfish was definitely an interesting film. I loved the characters in this movie. Definitely recommend it.
Tonight: Hatchet II and The Social Network
So The Last Exorcism was an absolute blast until the last two sequences. I want to know who thought THAT was a good idea. This movie is dying for a directors cut.

Yeah... seriously!
