Finally got to see The Lords of Salem today! In first viewing I liked it but wsn't as good as I was expecting. I really liked how it harkened back to the House of 1000 Corpses style. Definitely deserves a second viewing and probably a purchase.

Lords does take a second viewing, perhaps. Zombie packed the movie with horror-star cameos. I am glad that you liked the movie. The 'net sure discussed Lords of Salem a lot before we degenerates got to watch the fucking show!

Saw Brandon Cronenberg's (son of the amazing David Cronenberg) Antiviral a few days ago and loved it! If you like David's older, stranger films, then check this one out.

Sorry I know it's running rampant, but I have to state my opinion as well. I absolutely do not think Affleck is a good choice for Batman.

FINALLY got to see Pacific Rim last night! It was what it was, it wasn't a perfectly executed academy award winning film, but it was all kinds of awesome! Loved it!

Your review is fair and accurate. Pacific Rim is not the year's best picture. But, the sights do leave a person in awe.

I just got home about 20 minutes ago and caught the end of Rocky Balboa. Is it pathetic that I'm in my mid 30's and Rocky can still make me feel all warm and fuzzy? lol

Only proof you're still human.

I finally watched Drive last night. It was great. I don't know what all these people that told me it sucked were thinking.

Minor spoiler alert: The best part of Man of Steel was Superman taking out a US spy drone and telling the military to shove it.

Saw Man of Steel this week. It was pretty damn awesome! maybe not quite as good as all the hype but absolutely awesome.

Many Schmoes liked it. Interestingly enough, Man of Steel is the second consecutive Superman film to take a more serious, adult approach. Superman Returns did too. I liked both.

Uh, well I liked it better than RETURNS.

Yeah I thought Superman Returns pretty much sucked. it had some good parts but their things about it that were absolutely ridiculous I thought, the main one being seeing Superman on a stretcher.

Last night I watched both Hansel and Gretel, and Jack the Giant Slayer. Like both movies quite a bit and even though I'm sure to critics that story line wise and all other things critics have to bitch about, that Jack was a better movie, I enjoyed watching Hansel and Gretel much more. Was not expecting all the blood and violence, twas pretty sweet!

AGREED! I watched the unrated version so I don't know if that one was more bloody, but I didn't see anything that thought went beyond R. At any rate I was pretty impressed and highly entertained by it.

Well my extremely busy yet somehow mundane seeming life finally let me just finish Hemlock Grove. I loved the whole show and then the last episode was pissing me off until the end. I can't wait for the next season. Anybody know any news about it?

I believe Cloud Atlas is a genuine masterpiece, and I am glad I just up and bought it because I think it will take multiple viewings to solidify my theory. The fact that I know I didn't catch everything is evidence enough of a movie better than most.

JJ Abrams better not pull that constant lens flare bull crap with the new Star Wars movie. I heard he did it to make things more realistic feeling in the midst of so much CG. Okay yeah thanks for reminding me I'm looking through a camera ever 30 seconds! Absolutely suspended my disbelief. Not only that but if every bright light causes a lens flare... one of the most important elements of the Stars Universe involves a bright light! Imagine what one of those battles would look like with lens flares! Well you wouldn't be able to see it to tell.
