The only one I lost was Jack too JohnLocke and I don't get it! How does it even work anyway? I got that you had to have the right people lead the team or else bad shit would happen (so you put the good leaders as the team leads, obviously) and then you need someone who's good at tech or whatever for the tech thing... I heard that was all that mattered and I did it... then randomly there was a screenshot of Jack laying dead on the ground and that was it... blah, so bummed heh, I really liked her. Actually wanted her to be Shepard's girl but unknowingly screwed that up when I got frisky with her and she liked it... and then she wouldn't talk to me again, what! lol... so then I tried to make Shepard's girl Miranda and that just would not happen 'sorry can't talk right now' either... so at the end of the game Shepard just ended up looking at the picture in his room of the Asari chick... oh well, at least I told Kelly she could clean out my fish tank... whatever that meant =P
@Cochise mate I had a look at the wikki page and in order to save Jack you have to make all these different choices. TBH it would be pure luck if you managed to save her without knowing how before hand. From what I gather - don't quote me on this though - you have to
- Get on her good side.
-Do her loyalty mission
-Side with her when she has the fight with Miranda
-Sleep with her and ONLY her.
There was also somthing about doing her and Miranda's loyaly mission in a particular order. Before the fight or after the fight. Lol. See, pure chore.

Yes bud. I'm gonna make a start on 3 tomorrow. I had to get a new PS3 a few weeks ago and Mass Effect 3 came free with it. I picked up part 2, decided to clear that first. Can't wait to make a start on 3.
