Trying to watch SOUTHLAND TALES. Uh... WTF?
Justin Timberlake's little song and dance number towards the middle completely fuckin' ruined this movie.
Hey Ammon I don't know if you're watching the DVD version or whatever, but if you are listen to the commentary with the movie. If you're not, find a way to get ahold of the DVD just for the commentary. It seriously makes the movie 10x more enjoyable because of how much Richard Kelly tries to explain and defend the film lol.
I enjoy it for what it is, as things coming together doesn't really ever make any sense but it definitely isn't something I would classify as a "good" movie.
Yikes! I tried. It was on all the way to the end but it lost me a little more than a quarter in. Great cast, though! And the Rock was awesome. But holy shitballs, what a trainwrek!
Good luck with that! I've given that movie one too many second chances, and I wanted to like it so badly.
