Review:

This film turned out a lot better than I thought it would. If you've seen The Descent, then this will be familiar territory for you, except instead of monsters in the dark, we have lots of water flooding everywhere.

Richard Roxburgh is surprisingly good as the protagonist here, especially since he's spent much of his career playing the villain. In a reversal of roles as well, Ioan Gruffudd plays the asshole here, and he's not too shabby either.

The thrills are well filmed and paced, the predicament the characters find themselves in feel very real, as they continuously move deeper to avoid the flood. There are some flaws, like the girl making some really stupid decisions, and some lines are kinda corny, but overall I had fun with this flick.
