The Invention of Lying was meh.
AARON HORWITZ'S LATEST ACTIVITY
The Invention of Lying was meh.
I haven't seen this one yet. I will check it out one of these days, mostly because I'm a fan of Ricky Gervais.
original concept for sure, but poor execution. Gervais doesn't have much directing ability I guess:
"24" - Where 80's and 90's TV and movie stars go for job placement. Current success stories include Freddie Prinze Jr. and Mykelti Williamson, and Jurgen Prochnow! And we're only in episode 3!

just saw Pee Wee Herman LIVE, 20 years after playing with his doll as a kid. The man hasn't lost a step! Great to see him back in action.
That is good to hear. I was definitely interested when I first heard about the show. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see it.
I saw Pee Wee on The Tonight Show a couple of months ago, and he was quite funny. I used to be a big fan of the old show.
I'm glad he's making a comeback.
Good God District 9 is such an amazing flick.

FACT OF THE DAY: Michael Douglas produced (and won an Oscar for) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It was his first film.
15 years later, he produced Stone Cold, starring Brian "The Boz" Bosworth.
I think that's a different Michael Douglas. It's a pretty common name after all.
So what do you all think of the Joblo.com facelift? Honest opinions welcome!

has for some reason been humming the theme from Speed today
ok fine. The new Robin Hood trailer has gotten me a little excited. I still think Gladiator, as great as it was, mercilessly ripped off Braveheart!
Would it make you feel any better if I said I didn't like either BRAVEHEART or GLADIATOR? (But Braveheart less because it didn't have wacky Joaquin in it.)
look at my all-time favorite movie on my profile and then ask me that question again!
Field of Dreams is easily one of the best sports films of all time. It also has one of the worst posters of all time.

Personally, I think it's one of the most original comedies to come out in some time.
