New THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN trailer, was fuckin' awesome.
FX-wise, the web-swinging stuff don't look a whole lot different from what we got in the previous movies. It's solid. On a character and actor level, is where this has the potential to be superior in every way(sorry Raimi). One thing that REALLY bugged me(pun aside) in the earlier flicks was how Spidey's mouth never visibly moved while he spoke. Because there was some plastic shell thing underneath the mask for the head to keep its egg-shape, it prevented jaw movement. Looked freakin' silly, and after seeing this trailer I'm not entirely sure they fixed it this time around. Very disappointed in the lack of white lab coat for Lizzy. But after seeing him in the trailer and how their battles might play out visually, it's something I think I could warm up to.
Overall, it looks simply............AMAZING!
Yeah but, dude........you should still be able to see his mouth moving up-and-down through the mask.
I agree, I'm just pointing out why you couldn't. It's because it wasn't Tobey in there. In the new trailer at least you can tell it's Garfield in the costume during the car scene by his gestures as he speaks.
The dialogue of Spider-Man in the Raimi movies was mostly ADR, as it was actually a stunt man in the costume most of the time.
