The Oscar nominations are laughably bad this year. I haven't seen a single movie that is nominated for best picture, and the only ones on that list that I actually want to see are Hugo and Moneyball (though I would sit through War Horse and Tree of Life if they were on).

Have any of you guys seen The Sitter? i want to hear someone's opinion on the movie who normally enjoys Jonah Hill's comedy. I haven't seen it yet and I'm curious if I should go. Personally I think it looks hilarious.

Went to see The Muppets the other day... then a group of three adults and 8 kids all literally under the age of three come in, and then i see one of the adult's has an infant in a carrier, which she then proceeds to set on the chair DIRECTLY in front of me. There was no way I was going to tolerate that, so I had to move to the front row to get far enough away from them, yet the baby's shrill cries still pierced my ears throughout the movie, not to mention all the toddlers constantly talking. I hate inconsiderate fucks like those parents.

My Halloween Saturday... instead of going to my hometown to party and visit with friends, I had to stay and do schoolwork... so tonight after studying all day and taking a test and writing a 6 page essay, i put on my clay matthews jersey over some wizard robes, put a wizard hat on, and opened a bottle of scotch, and preceded to watch horror movies by myself while dressed up as a fantasy football player. You see kids, you can still celebrate Halloween even if you aren't hanging out with anyone!
