I knew Warrior was going to be good when I heard The National playing at the beginning.
went to a high school today, got on their wifi and MFC was blocked. I was pretttttty bored.
Someone just tweeted that Ryan Gosling was at a bar in downtown Indy (where I live). And when he left, bought everyone a round of beers. Of course, where am I? At the supermarket RENTING DRIVE. FML.
He just keeps getting even more awesome and I thought that wasn't possible.
Flying People! Cool marketing for upcoming Chronicle

The Royal Rumble!!! (aka I'm glad I didn't pay $60 for that.)
That might have been the worst Royal Rumble I've seen. I found a stream online so thankfully I didn't pay for it. Here are my thoughts and warning there will be spoilers:
Before the main event happened, I was fine with everything that occurred beforehand. It was all predictable, but it was okay, because the RUMBLE is next! My favorite wwe event of the year - Mystery superstars, returning superstars, get excited!
It was bad. And I get the WWE will never be as good as it was via the Attitude era and long ago, but come on.
Firstly, it was the worst rumble in terms of 'randomness.' I know it's never random, but hide it better; they put all the rivalries together for crying out loud. Miz first, R-Truth 3rd. Foley, Santino. I'm not going to look up his name but Jahir whatever and then The Great Khali. Barrett, Orton were a couple draws apart. And they really loaded the front end with nobodies. And the announcers entered, hovering around the 20 spot area. It was no surprise the Miz was in as long as he was. Surprised Cody Rhodes was 4th, I liked that, but as a viewer, you honestly didn't see a clear winner until Dolph came in at 18, then Sheamus at 22.
Second, the surprises & returns. Oh my lord, no wonder they kept it a secret. Ricardo Rodriguez, Foley, The King, Cole, Booker, Khali, Hacksaw, Road Dogg, Kharma, not to mention Y2J but you knew all about him. David Otunga was number 27. Come on...we can't get one JUST ONE heavyweight, to actually give us a sense that 'hey, he might win?' No, we get guys who barely stay in the ring for a minute. It was depressing and just, awful. None of those guys lasted more than 5 minutes I don't think. Foley and Khali might have. I mean Lesnar, Mysterio, HHH, Austin, Taker, Batista, hell Kevin Nash again - you couldn't get just one of those guys? Really thought Christian might pop up but no! I'm not saying they had to win it. Just give us some excitement! Kane wasn't even in it! Mark Henry, Brodus Clay, throw them in there! Instead, we get these awful competitors including the halves of many of the awful tag team division that has become of the WWE.
Third, the outcome. I'm a fan of Sheamus but the WWE has done absolutely nothing with him lately. There were so many potential, interesting storylines that could have developed with a different winner. Y2J winning n going after CM Punk, Orton winning in his hometown (albeit predictable but still), a returning superstar winning it, etc. I hope they have a plan for Sheamus but right now, my faith is shattered.
What did you guys think? Any of you actually pay $60 for this??
EmbarassedLesnar was a long shot at best and the returns for Kharma and Road Dogg. It wasn't THAT bad. It was a shame to se Foley because he obviously couldn't do much in the ring.
The Super Bowl is in my hometown. Suck it!
Goodbye Chuck. After two seasons, you were my favorite tv show; everything after that was pure mediocrity. But most importantly, thank you for bringing Yvonne Strahovski into my life.
I called it The Yvonne Strahovski Lusting Hour. Alternatively titled The "Adam Baldwin is a Badass" Hour.
i enjoyed most of season 3 but yeah it was definetly downhill after season 2
i mean don't get me wrong there were some bright spots here and there, but it just seemed like the writers were trying to hard to please the shippers.
NBC put the premiere episode for their new show Smash on Netflix instant for a limited time. While I won't watch it because I'm a man, I think it's a pretty good idea, especially for the trainwreck that is NBC
