10 Reasons I Hate Facebook (part 1 of 10, 257)

1. Why do you wait until I scroll down to load the rest of the page? Why not just load the whole fucking thing as soon as I get here? Do you really think I’m only going to look at a few posts on top and just leave? Fuckin stupid!

2. Dude, if you’re going to keep posting ten million self shots a day…..at least put a shirt on. You’re the only one jerking off to these photos, no one wants to see that.

3. I am so sick of people talking in code and being so broad in their complaints about individual people that have offended them. “I wish some people would do this” and “I really wish some people would’nt do that”, either address that person in a personal message or tell us who the hell you’re referring to. And even without complaining about shit people will be like “something great happened today”, but won’t say what it is. Fuck all that.

4. Fuck a dislike button, a WHO GIVES A FUCK button is long overdue.

5. What do you mean you invited me? When? Oh you mean you sent me a notice on Facebook? Like when you just simply group me in with a bunch of others and click send? What happened to the days when you would personally call me and invite me somewhere?

6. If I wanted to make Facebook my homepage, I would’ve done it already. Fuck off.

7. Mom, seriously? What the hell is your 50 year old ass doing on here? And stop leaving me frowny faces every time I say a cuss word!

8. “Blah?”… “Ugh?”……Really? Why even post anything at all if you’re just going to be grunting and moaning? This has to be the most useless of all posts. There are more subtle ways of getting everyone’s attention you sobby bastard, but no one feels sorry for you anyhow.

9. You can’t have a civilized conversation or debate about any topic even remotely offensive or important. You either have people who just want to joke about everything, people get insanely defensive and shitty, and then people who are just fucking stupid. Bringing up religion, race, war, etc. on Facebook is like bringing it up at Thanksgiving dinner. It’s just a bad idea.

Legends of the Fall is so damn pompous that, yes, a person laughs considerably throughout.

The Box has some intelligence to it. But, ultimately, the story relies upon characters making stupid and cowardly decisions. So, a person laughs at those fools.

You are right. Some supposedly "serious" art does merit some mockery and amusement.
