Problems I have with the new Spiderman
I have an army" "we have a Hulk
Rubber, I had such high hopes for you...4/10
Just ordered Terminator 2 again, hopefully Amazon wont send me the wrong movie again. Though if they do, Im hoping for Twister or Armageddon
Well Walmart may not have a $5 bluray bin yet but they have a $7.88 bin. Have to get back there and pick up district 9 and crouching tiger
Platinumed Dante's Inferno bringing the platinum count to 5. Would love for Uncharted 3 to be the 6th
After much thought and consideration, Ive decided against getting the Bond Blu ray set. I already own 6 of the movies, the same company that did such a awesome restoration/blu ray transfer on the 6 I have did all 22 films. with the unreleased films just sitting around since then, highly unlikely the quality will take a dip or go up between the old releases and new ones.
Really wish when they filmed 3D movies they filmed alternate versions of scenes for 2D. Like that berry bounce off the Rock in the Journey 2 commercials, looks stupid as hell in 2D
I was actually thinking of the same thing, but in a sort of opposite way. For instance say in the movie Underworld if it were in 3D when Seline throws things at the camera in slow motion, I wish the 3D version would take advantage of that more and slow it down, really let it pop out to the fullest for a couple more seconds and then do the cut, and on the flip side in the 2D version just have it more of a quick throw at the camera thing and cut some time off the shot because like you said, the viewer feels kind of left out watching a scene made for 3D in 2D.
Some of my recent viewings:
Pirates 4- Loved it. Dont really get the will/elizabeth comparisons to the mermaid/dude, I thought their love story was barely there.
The Warriors Way- Enjoyed it and liked the visuals
Kill the Irishman- pretty good. They couldve easily slipped Gerald Butler in there as an alternate choice for the lead.
This Film Is Not Yet Rated- Watched it and said eff the MPAA
Buried-One of those few movies that successfully pull me in with the character. The ending left me feeling oddly uncomfortable and the discomfort weirdly got worse at the sound of music during the credits
I Love You Phillip Morris- Not enough humor for my taste
Tangled- Was pretty damn good. loved that horse
Gnomeo & Juliet- will soon join the ranks of such classics as Over the Hedge and Open Seasor...The Forgotten Animated Movies
Airheads- A rock classic in my opinion
I agree with Pirates 4, i dont get it either.
Enjoyed The Warriors Way for the visuals as well. But didnt like Tangled at all. Was one of the more childish Disney films, nothing wrong with that, but im not really into the whole "aww, cuteness!" thing.
I like Terry Crews but Im tired of hearing him defend the PG 13 rating and Norris all the time on facebook. May have to unlike his ass
There's no defending that rating. Saying it's best for the story and the movie is bullshit. Everyone knows WHY they did it, to get more potential viewers and make more money. Only they don't fully understand what their fanbase really is. Most people interested in this movie are at LEAST 18+ and by changing the rating, they're changing the movie into one that less interestss it's real target audience, which will end up biting them in the ass and hurt the overall box office.
It doesn't help that he's such an arrogant prick about it as well. They won't get my money.
What ghost man said... What kids around 13-16 even know who Dolph Lundgren is?
Let this be a lesson Hollywood. When an internet meme starts making demands and threatens to walk, let him walk
One of my buddies actually came up with an interesting idea, why don't they just release the 2 versions in the cinema? One PG-13 for the candy asses and R rated for the people who want a proper action flick, then everybody's happy and I can finally stop whining about it and lower my blood pressure.
@IwishIwasBond... it can't be harder than releasing a 3D print and a 2D print at the same time. But logistically, it means more work for the theaters, keeping kids out of the R rated version, and Chuck Norris would probably still sue the studio for breach of contract.
Dreams do come true. I found myself a geek/gamer girlfriend

I kinda disliked your #4 point as well but it seems he starts fighting the swat team while hiding his face, which I liked.
