I don't know if you've ever heard them but The King Blues has really lit my faith in modern punk music. Musically they're similiar to The Clash in that they mix several genres and make it work. Check them out.

Ok, this shit about SDCC is pissing me off. Marvel Studios pulled from SDCC, not Marvel. Dreamworks, WB, Disney, and The Weinstein Company have all pulled as well. These are all movie companies. The fucking convention is called Comic-Con not Movie-Con. It's not turning into a Twilight convention either. You have one more year of Twilight and its done. So just calm the fuck down.
I know you were talking about Mrs. Carmody but you said that the rest of people on hellcookie's list had poor performances. It just wasn't an awful acting job on Kristen's part, it's the source material. The character of Bella Swan is annoying because of how poorly written she is. She's needy and dependent. No actress can make that character likable or even interesting unless the screenwriter completely rewrites her which won't happen because Twilight fans would lose their minds since the films closely follow the books. That's what I meant. Sorry, I should have been more clear. :-)
Hey Jekupa said I should come see you on comic artist stuff...Have you ever heard of a guy named "Bud Kling"? He signed his cartoons "C.B. Kling" in the 80s. One of them was a bird with a halo who seemed to be into sex.
I haven't. I even tried googling and didn't see anything. Sorry I couldn't help.
Happy Birthday to the wild and wonderful white of Chicago.
Just got Two Cow Garage "Sweet Saint Me" on Band Camp for fifty cents. Digging it. You were right about Suburban Home, great roster.
If you haven't yet, check out the debut album from Old Man Markley. It's called "Guts N' Teeth" and it's awesome.
Hey bro - what part of Chicago are you from? Until 4 years ago I lived in Homer Glen (Next to Joliet). Love the flask!
I grew up on the South side of the city. Now I live out in Lombard. I know exactly where Homer Glen is. One of our high school rivals was Providence which is out that way.
Let me know if you'd like one of those Bronson posters... I should have a couple extra after the screening.
I'm not sure if you know this already but you make an appearance in As Schmoeville Turns http://moviefancentral.com/mrsdata/blogs/as-schmoeville-turns:girlcreeture-jekupka-fndanny-brewsky99--servo-part-4
Favorite thing ever:
"Even his epic facial hair couldn’t hide the wide smirk that pulled at his lips,"
So well done.
I'm assuming you're excited for a new Social Distortion album? I'm listening to the leak. It's not bad at all. I'll probably get it off of ITunes when it releases.
Can't fucking wait. I saw them live a couple months ago and they played a couple of the songs. Really looking forward to it.
A man was driving down an Alaskan road and his car broke down. He phoned AAA and they arrived shortly after. The tow truck driver opened the hood and after a while he said " It looks like you've blown a seal ", the man replies "No, it's just frost on my moustache."
Do you like the band Murder By Death? Seems like you'd be all over a band like this.
I was listening to a lot of Germs about a month ago. Lately I've been listening to mainly Replacements though.
Love The Replacements. And Paul Westerberg in general. I was stoked to find a copy of Stereo when I was in Ohio.
Matches I miss you, get on Skype once in awhile dammit!
During his monthly visit to the corner barbershop, this fellow asked his barber for any suggestions on how to treat his increasing baldness. After a brief pause, the barber leaned over and confided that the best thing he'd come across was, er, female juices. "But you're balder than I am," protested the customer. "True," admitted the barber, "but you've gotta admit I've got one hell of a mustache!"

Ah gotcha. No need to apologize. I just got confused, and really, that's not a hard thing to do. :)
