Larry Crowne was not nearly as bad as it was made out to be. Not a classic by any means, nor does it touch Tom Hanks other Directorial effort, That Thing You Do, but it was a nice feel good movie. Sometimes I think people hate feel good movies that aren't aimed at kids.
I just busted my 2001: A Space Odyssey Cherry. After viewing it I am amazed, horrified, aroused, confused, pissed off, happy, and sad. Is that normal?
Yeah, I loved the movie. Just confused the shit out of me ha. My dad said he thinks it was made as an elaborate joke to confuse people and cause people to try to figure out what it meant, when in reaiity it meant nothing.
Pretty sure yeah. The first time I saw it, I thought it was dogshit, particularly its first 20 minutes or so. It's still not the "masterpiece" in my eyes, that everyone says it is, but each time I watch it, I also feel differently about it, so who knows. Maybe that's the film's ultimate purpose... :)
