Larry Crowne was not nearly as bad as it was made out to be. Not a classic by any means, nor does it touch Tom Hanks other Directorial effort, That Thing You Do, but it was a nice feel good movie. Sometimes I think people hate feel good movies that aren't aimed at kids.

I haven't done a review in a while, but this one inspired me to write one again. I love reviewing these Martial Arts movies. They always speak to me in ways other movies do not. This one was one of the better ones I had seen in a while Directed by Benny Chan, and Starring Andy Lau, with a great supporting role by Jackie Chan, this movie knows how to entertain, all while actually having a very good story. The fight scenes are great, there is some Wire Fu, but not nearly to the extent of a Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon. One particularly memorable fight has Jackie Chan, who is just a cook, using the skills he knows from that to take out some attackers...[more]...

Immortals may not have been groundbreaking or anything, but that shit was entertaining as hell, and the visuals are stunning.
Pancakes are fucking gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
My brilliant idea for a post apocalyptic movie. A combination of nuclear war and humanities irresponsibility has made the ground area almost uninhabitable with nuclear fallout, and zombie like behavior (due to the fallout) making humanity almost extinct. Within a couple years the entire world will be dead. They devise a plan to bring humanity up to the sky, and start building everything on platforms thousands of feet in the air. Through a series of lotteries, people are chosen to go to this new paradise. As the story unfolds, it leads to the big twist at the end, that this is in fact an origin story to the Jetsons.
Watching Terri. Surprised I havent heard more about this. It seems to be loved by all the people who do see it. The acting is great, and you can't help but love the titular character.
some of the stuff does make me think, not necessarily that Aliens did it, but it makes me wonder how people did it in ancient times, such as moving the 1 ton bricks and what not.
I've seen eps where some rocks stacked up were like 20 tons each! youtube has all 3 seasons episodes up to date. (I have seasons 1 and 2 on DVD-3 will be out late in year yet) The precision and difficulty in transporting, carving an stacking these mega sized boulders is an incredible feat. + some evidence of actually melting stones together with no mortar! How? only laser beams in modern times can do that- on a very minute scale I might add! We're not talking about sandstone either! but some of the hardest and heaviest type of rock as U probably know from watching the series. There was more than human ingenuity happening in ancient times.
Yeah! Sometimes I think our ancients had more technology than we give them credit for.
You ever notice how some series you keep hearing complaints about, and how they need to stop making them, and they will never see them, everyone seems to be so negative about, yet they still make hundreds of millions dollars each time? I think some people are lying. (I'm looking at you, "haters" of POTC, the Star Wars Prequels, and ones who would "never" see a PG13 die hard)
I liked Live Free or Die Hard. It was as fun as the original R rated trilogy.
I own Space Jam on Blu Ray. I can die happy.
I don't think life will ever get better, I picked it up the other day too ... we've peaked, nothing can compare to the majesty of owning SPACE JAM on Blu-ray. Nothing.
Woo! Pulp Fiction came a day early! And they sent me two copies!
I know the end does fall off a little, but I still love Funny People.
True Legend- Awesome fight scenes, Clusterfucked story.

WAFFLE BOT!!!
