Hell yeah, I got a compliment from Tom Hardy:)
Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory is outstanding, yet really fucking heartbreaking. I've been following it since 1995 or still feel this resounding frustration at the justice system. Unbelievable.
This is a great series of documentaries. Heartbreaking for both the kids accused and the families of the boys that were murdered. A great insight into injustice in this country. The one thing I really liked was the inclusion of Metallica in the soundtrack since that was the main reason the WM3 were accused: Metal. Does this one has Metallica as well?
It does, and once again Metallica is used exceedingly well. It's a must see man!
Come on guys... who wants to join me to go check out One for the Money!?!
Anybody going to see the midnight screenings of The Grey?
Thanks man... such a fantastic movie! Really somber and intense. I hope you dig it;)
If I didn't have work in an hour I would have gone to the midnight. But I'm hitting the two fifteen after work ends. Can't wait.
yeah based on your interview with the man, plus and already seemingly solid film, I'm seeing it this weekend
A little bit of Godsmack...

Is anyone here really excited for Hunger Games? I just can't seem to bring myself to care that much, but maybe they books are worth reading?
I'm with ya, I'm seein a lot of adults get excited for it but I really can't see why... :/
Couldn't get through the first book but I'm with the AITH boys. This could be a adaptation that is better than the source material.
The Grey is fantastic!
Had a terrifically fun day celebrating my son's birthday with mariachis!
RIP Etta James:(
Argh!
Working on my Underworld review... keep in mind I think the franchise is fun.
lookin forward to it, really really liked the first and loved the second -- this one looks great, hope ya dug it!
I love the first two! I never understood all the hate this franchise seems to get a lot.
This franchise in general draws a very clear line between audience and critic with a few exceptions of course.
Kate Beckinsale is pretty.
Man, I can't imagine being across such a beautiful woman like Beckinsale. Glad to know she's a sweetheart in real life.
I found a picture of when The Swell Season played at a local record store. It was of my son and Glen and Marketa and he looked like he was meeting a real life Santa Claus. After the show while Glen was signing autographs, he let my nine year old son go back stage and play his guitar with ZERO supervision, it was the one he plays in the film ONCE, and pretty much every live performance. Needless to say my son was INSANELY HAPPY! It was a truly inspired moment that I just felt like sharing. Nothing cooler than seeing your child that happy:)
Finally getting to watch Paradise Lost 3 tonight
off subject i know but I just had to tell you that I just came back from The Artist and I couldn't agree more with what you wrote in you top 10 of 2001 (same for Hugo!). It is purely magical and mesmerizing and captivating. I believe this movie and Jean Dujardin are the ones to beat in their category. also, if it wasn't for John Williams score for War Horse, Ludovic Bource's score would be a shoe-in as well
No worries man for going off subject. I'm really glad you dug it as much as I did. It is a really special film... just magical. And thankfully, it really doesn't warrant a sequel;) Hugo and The Artist just seem like a perfect double feature.

Nice dude
