Saw GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO tonight. Thought it was tremendous...but not sure how necessary it was to make. That said, Rooney, Daniel, Fincher and the supporting cast were great. Review up shortly perhaps.

...next on the docket. I shall let y'all know how it turns out. Interestingly, the alternate title for the flick is WHAT ARE THOSE STRANGE DROPS OF BLOOD DOING ON JENNIFER'S BODY. Anyone who's seen JUNO will find Diablo Cody straight up jacked this title. Also, the star of the film, Edwige Fenech...is Mike Myers name in INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS. Tarantino obviously has a fetish.

I'm with you Derek...because River's Edge also came out in 1986, I think it tends to get overshadowed by Blue Velvet. Both are great flicks...perfect double feature to watch Hopper at his finest!

Saw them twice, the last two years that they played on Halloween at the Universal Amphitheater (now the Gibson Amphitheater). Words can't describe. I guess I'm lucky to be old in that regard.
I also caught Warrior last night. Phenomenal movie!!
