Does anyone have the Blu Ray of Source Code? I finally sat down to watch it now and it won't work properly. The menu loads up after all the tedious adds n shit but when I click "lay movie" it plays some bullshit montage screen thing and not the bastard movie. WTF?!?!?!

Face/Off was always a strange film, the concept itself is ridiculous and was always hard to swallow. The reason it worked (at the time) was due to the performances by the two leads: John Travolta and Nicolas Cage...[more]...
SANCTUM Writer/Producer Andrew Wight And Cinematographer Mike deGruy die in Helicopter crash. RIP, just watched Sanctum the other night as well. What a sad waste.
Is it just me who thinks they are really underplaying The Amazing Spider-Man? I would have thought there'd be a new clip last night but... nothing. Normally there's hype up the wazoo but this is definitely not being as hyped as the other super hero flicks this year.
Yeah as much as I'm looking forward to Avengers and TDKR, I'm not THAT hyped about them. It would be funny if Spidey snuck up on them and ended up being more successful. It won't happen but it would be interesting. Looking forward to seeing the final box offices at the end of this year to see what's number 1.
The movie doesn't come out until July, spending 2 million dollars on a 30 second spot now would be a waste of money. Their better off just releasing a full trailer online and saving the promotional money for when the movies closer to release. I think a lot of studios are realizing that now that's why there were very few big movie previews last night.

Now everyone tends to agree that Die Hard is the best action movie ever made, however I think that it may just be beaten by T2. This is quite frankly a flawless masterpiece of action cinema...[more]...
A Masterpiece. Even though there's a lot of great action in T2 I classify it as a sci fi movie, what with all the time traveling robots and all. To me an "action movie" has to be pure of all sci fi or supernatural elements. Oh, and though Die Hard is great, we all know Rambo 2 is the greatest action movie ever made ;{P
For once, I'm actually not being sarcastic. Never seen these movies and never will but the dogs are cute.
What the fuck is wrong with Facebook, is it not loading for anyone else?
What's even more creepier is when I tried searching Facebook Timeline facts on several search engines all I got was the access denied page.
I'm just about done with FB almost deactivated my acct yesterday... if it weren't for all the family members I have on there...
Yeah, I'm wanting to cancel it as well but it's how I communicate with the outside world.
Seems to be alright now though.
Midnight Run

Man, I miss movies like this. Midnight Run stars Robert DeNiro as a bounty hunter who tries to bring in Charles Grodin's mob accountant.
DeNiro is great as a badass but this is hardly a stretch, we always new he was hard as nails, but this is pure 80's action gold without being cheesy.
The film also stars the always great Joe Pantoliano, nobody quite shouts the way he does. I especially loved Yaphet Koto as the cigarette stealing FBI agent Alonso.
The script is top notch with DeNiro hurling insults at Grodin every two seconds. If you're offended by bad language then you'd best avoid it and go watch Twilight instead, Nancy boy!
I knew I'd love the movie as soon as the music started with the electric guitar score by Danny Elfman. As we all know, an action movie ain't shit if it doesn't have an electric guitar in the soundtrack.
Flaws? It is a bit too long, could probably have trimmed 10-15 minutes off the runtime, but hardly a major gripe.
Overall a classic of the buddy genre and up there with Lethal Weapon as one of the very best. Highly recommended.
Never seen it either, and I'll take it that your response to this will be exactly the same as what you just said to Nite Owl so OK FINE I WILL CHECK IT OUT! =P
In Time

In Time is such a cool and different idea, at first I didn't want to see it due it it starring Justin Timberlake and that chick who looks like an alien (Amanda Seyfried), however I gotta say it was pretty cool.
It was nice to see something that isn't a remake or comic book movie. It had some original scenes and dare I say it, but Justin did a great job. He's hardly a badass (that's for sure) but he's a good actor and I think In Time is one of the better films I've seen lately.
I always like films set in a Dystopian future and this had some interesting ideas and plays with the dream of immortality rather nicely. Craig Armstrong provides a good score as always and the script was pretty decent, if overall rather forgettable.
Despite having the hugest eyes in the entire world Amanda Seyfried was great in it, she was sexy and sympathetic. The always brilliant Cillian Murphy was the bad guy but I think they could have done more with him. Making him a bit more three dimensional would have been a good start, but then he IS the bad guy.
Overall a decent sci-fi actioner with a really interesting concept, shame it isn't a bit more memorable though.
Off to see "The Grey." Sorry wolves, but you just don't mess with Liam.
So I was watching "Most Amazing" on telly last night and they did the Top Ten Movie Vampires. You can guess what they had at number 1 can't you? Yup, Edward Cullen. I might add that Nosferatu was not even in the top ten. I guess these shows aren't really for proper movie fans. *shakes head and weeps for mankind*
Haywire

Haywire has had a lot of mixed reviews, I think you either hate it or love it. Personally, I LOVED it!
I am officially in love with Gina, my future bride (sorry Irina). This girl's got mad skills yo, etc. The fight scenes were visceral and brutal, the camera actually stayed still so you could see and feel every punch/kick.
Ewan MacGregor was a great baddie and there were plenty of twists n' turns to keep it interesting.
I do understand why people wouldn't like it as the pacing is a bit all over the place, but isn't that the point? That's why it's called "Haywire."
It has one of the coolest scores I've heard in a long time which is very similar to Ocean's 11.
Soderbergh expertly directs this film with some amazing camera work and builds up real tension, especially the whole scene with Magneto.
Any film with Michael Douglas and Antonio Banderas already has "WIN" written all over it. Banderas has the coolest voice in the entire world and is generally just cool. Douglas makes any film worth watching as well.
The star of the show though is Carano who is not only beautiful but badass as well. Remind me never to spill her pint.
Overall a good solid R rated action thriller thingy and highly recommended if you're looking for something a little different.
hmm... I'm still gonna wait til video/TV but I might just check it out now I guess. I saw a few clips of it and it just looked horrible, the way it was shot just looked so amateurish but maybe it feels different when you see the whole thing. It's got a fantastic cast but the trailers did nothin for me and the clips just made it worse... BUT why not, I'll keep an open mind... nice review ;)
Dude, see it. It's an R rated action movie and that's what we're all about.
Haywire booked for tonight.

this movie deserves a 2435/100
