Caught Tintin yesterday on my last day off for the holidays. Well worth it! Highly recommended. One of Spielberg's best adventure movies. Now I just want to get off work so I can drink too much PBR and imagine I'm still on holiday.

Trying to buy advance tickets for midnight Thursday showing of Thor. Literally EVERY theater in my area is only showing the 3D version. Fucking bullshit.
I'm in the same dilemma. Luckily though the 3D isn't that distracting so I can live with it.
It's more the fact that I'm forced to see it in 3D if I want to see it Thorsday. I'm a cheap bastard.

I'm just hoping Tom Hardy gets ripped and physically portrays Bane with his own body, and not CGI or prosthetics.
He will get big as hell (see Bronson/his new fighting flick), but not massive. Since it's a Nolan movie and it's grounded in realism I can't see them going the CGI or prosthetic route.
also, Kevin Costner as Ace Wood? Perfect.
