Tucker & Dale vs. Evil? Pretty damn good.
The Last Circus: 8.5/10
"Warrior" was seriously a terrible movie. How did anyone rate it positively? It was ridiculous and corny. I even think the film is bad for the sport.
Tom Hardy: Great.
Rest of the film: Woah, a passed-his-prime school teacher has his house on the line. Then he comes out of nowhere and beats the best fighter in the world. What an underdog story. Then Tom Hardy's character, who no one has even heard of in MMA, beats everyone in short and brutal fashion and refuses to talk after his fights. What a badass. Marines support him even though he has no record. Turns out he's also a fucking war hero. And OMG they're brothers! They work their drama out in the cage and at the end the one brother is fucking crying "I love you!" while choking the other brother out. And Hardy is going to get arrested by MPs after the fight! Woah. Not insanely over-dramatic at all.
Also, all the takedowns are completely insane. Everyone gets slammed. I'm pretty sure a Grand Prix that takes place in the course of a few days is illegal in the US. Not to mentionfighters have to recover after a fight. And if a fighter fucked up his arm like that in the third round, not only would the...
referee stop the fight, but no one in the world would last two more rounds like that.
Watch "The Chaser" on Netflix. Seriously awesome.
I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothin' but I thought most of Alien Resurrection was kick-ass.
Watched "Enter the Void" ...kicked the crap out of me.
I'm a big fan of James Gunn and am pretty excited for Super. People are comparing it to Kick-Ass and Defendor like they created the concept. Think about that and then go watch Mirageman.
I really kind of wish Nolan would make 3 Dark Knight films. Batman Begins seems like a bad prequel.
Begins will likely be better than TDKR, and it was almost as good as TDK though Ledger's performance amped that movie to the top spot.
Well, I bought the Batman Begins blu-ray finally. I was hoping Begins would grow on me since I saw it in the theater. The first half is pretty good but the rest feels really cheesy. I'm watching TDK right now and just making a comment. I tried really hard to like Batman Begins but... I don't know.
George Lucas didn't ruin your childhood. He ruined your Star Wars obsessed adulthood.
I finally got around to watching the Social Network. Nothing special.
