About to go out to a Harry Potter-themed rave at my college tonight. What to expect I have no idea but it should be interesting no less.

It was said before on the JoBlo Movie Podcast but Boss really does remind me of The Wire in Seasons 3 & 4, the portion with the political campaigns and elections. This is a very, very good thing. Kelsey Grammer is damn good as Tom Kane.

Downloaded and played through the Twisted Metal demo today. That game is legit. I had no idea it was coming out so soon...

I love my roommates...but holy crap, I hate how (one in particular) got so loud last night doing the dirty, I couldn't get started on watching Boss last night on the TV. Gonna try again tonight.

Owned my modern art exam. After a good gym workout and food, I'm finally watching Drive.

I hate the idea that a series of Watchmen prequel books are coming out without any input from Alan Moore. Not gonna touch them.

P.S. Watched the Oscar-nominated documentary "To Hell and Back" for my Documentary Filmmaking class. It's a damn good but very uneasy documentary to watch, following a soldier during his tour and Afghanistan and afterwards.

It's great due to the editing, amazing war footage and the subjects. It's uneasy because the soldier at the center clearly has PTSD and you get a bit scared for him and people around him.

Well shit. I have to get started on studying up for a huge Modern Art History (Fast Track) class exam for tomorrow...and I did myself no favors by buying Drive today and plowing through more of Batman: Arkham City...

...which BTW, I swear might be the 1st game in a long time I'm feeling compelled to try to 100% it. (Super Mario Galaxy 1 was the last game I completed 100%)

Drive on Blu-Ray is now in my possession. My day is already off to a good start.

Saw My Week with Marilyn yesterday with my film club. It was pretty damn good and Michelle Williams IS Monroe in this film. She earned her Oscar nom. Kinda bummed the film itself didn't get a Best Picture nom.

Today I saw Ti West's The Innkeepers. A solid horror film. Nothing so special but just well crafted with a spooky atmosphere.

P.S. Sara Paxton is really cute in this film.

Busy as hell lately with classes. Recently saw The Ides of March again and it's a good, solid film. Gosling is great in it. Good warm up before Drive releases next week. So excited to pick that up, my favorite film of 2011.
